Powers and Abilities: Has the ability to raise the dead. She refuses to use her powers though, since she can not control how the person will come back. They can come back as one of many things, such as a souless coprse, horribly evil/demented person or as they were when they were alive, which is very rare. When she resurrects someone, a part of that person is embeded in her, weither it be a memory, physical attribute or a mutant power, which creates a bond between her and the person brought back, making it to where they can not hurt her in any way.
Background: At the age of 5, Faye's parents were exectued and her and her brother, Lee were sent to their abusive grandparents to live, where they were beat on a weekly basis. When Faye was 12 she had accidentally broken a bottle of her grandmothers favorite perfume, panicking, she ran to her brother, he took the blame and was beat to within an inch of life and locked in a shed. Worried about her brother, Faye had snuck out to bring him food and water, when she called his name to rouse him, when he didn’t respond she rushed over to check on him, he had passed away soon after being locked up. Faye refused to leave her brothers side, for 3 days and 3 nights she stayed in the shed. On the fourth night, her mutant powers had kicked in and she was somehow able to bring her brother back. At first she was confused, thought she had dreamt the whole ordeal but soon realized that it was real... Lee ruthlessly murdered their grandparents and everyone in the home, but was
unable to kill his sister. Terrified and confused Faye ran for her life. Never looking back. She stayed on the streets months, until she was picked up by one of Xavier’s men and brought to the institute, where she learned to speak English and how to control her power. She noticed that she absorbed a part of her brother into herself, as well as the tattoo he had on his back. She trained every day for seven years, knowing that she would one day have to face her brother again, and undo what she had done. Wanting to learn more about her powers, and to test her physical abilities, Faye requested that Xavier send her off on a training mission and was sent off the same night.
