A "sixth sense" that kicks in when people he is close to are in danger or great duress (this works both ways, i.e. they would know if he was in danger); He also carries The Ancient, a sword passed down through eons to him from his Sensei, Hiasata Dokorishu. It carries the souls of all who have carried it before, and is imbued with the power to cleave anything.
Through the sword Squish can speak with those who have carried it before him, gaining the knowlege and skill they had.
Squish's body is in it's basic form and function Human, but most doctors would not know what to make of his immune system. He is immune to all forms of disease, and most chemical agents. This has had the effect of slowing his aging to point of nearly stopping it. It is impossible to tell if he can die of old age.
Squish is a master of Ninjitsu, and highly skilled in all forms of weaponry except guns, which he abhors as un-neccessary and cowardly.
Background: Born in Ireland sometime in the early 1800's, he got drunk in a Pub one night and got in a horrible fight. He fell asleep in jail, and woke up in Japan, dressed in the clothing of a Ninjitsu apprentice. For 25 years he trained day and night. Upon the completion of his training, he set off to right wrongs and fight crime. After 50 years of this he fell in love
with a woman named Mariah and married her. As she grew older and he did not, his heart began to break. When she died he returned to Japan to live in the monastary he trained in. In 1926, The Illuminati backed a Triad from Hong Kong to burn the monastary and loot the statues. Squish moved to the surrounding woods with a vow of non-violence. Several months ago, an American company bought the land he was living on and leveled it for a mall.
With nothing left, he has broken his vow of non-violence and joined the
crusade against Mutant Genocide.
