Please keep in mind that what is pornagraphic to some is not to others. Our purpose here, in part, is to present what dominance and submission mean to us. There are a lot of misconceptions and misunderstandings out there. The internet is a great place to gather information on just about any subject you wanna research. In the case of chat though ... D/s is often presented in a very skewed way. The rooms we frequent are visited by many folks who want to find out what D/s is "all about." They want to see that they aren't alone ... that nothing's really "wrong" with them ... that there are others out there who feel like they do. When they go into a chatroom and see guys ordering girls around ... lewdly comanding girls at random to "serve" them sexually, attempting to assert their "dominance" by acting childishly and in essence making the very principle of being a dominant seem meaningless ... it gives the wrong impression. If every girl obeyed every instruction given to them by everyone who gave them an instruction there would be no need to discern between D/s and "vanilla." This is Earth ... not planet Gor. Girls claiming to be submissive, but belligerently challenging everyone who speaks to them ... acting like no-one has the right to address them, Viciously attacking anyone with whom they don't agree, incongruously trying to prove the strength of their "submissiveness" by displaying their perceived "power." It sickens most anyone who knows better. As I said ... we don't claim to know everything, but we do know what works for us ... and what does not. We'll be posting quite a bit of material on this subject and others in the coming weeks. What you will find on the site as it stands so far is mostly window dressing and surface information.
