                  What is Wicca?

Wicca is an earth-based religion that many witches practice. Its based on ancient paganism. Wicca is relatively new, its a reconstruction of an old religion and early witchcraft. Most Wiccans worship the God and Goddess. They have many different names to represent each facet of their personalities.

                      
What is a Witch?

The word witch comes from the word Wicce, which means female witch. Wicca means wizard. A witch is someone who uses magick in their everyday life.




                   
Witches' Symbol

Pentagram: A symbol of Wiccan faith. Its a five pointed star. Other names include: Endless Knot, Devils Star, Witch's Foot, and the Goblin Cross.
Pentacle: A pentagram with a circle around it. Its a powerful symbol of protection. If you draw a pentagram over an object, the object is protected.
Five Points
Fire: The lower left-hand point. Its color is red.
Water: The upper laft-hand point. Its color is blue.
Earth: The lower right-hand point. Its color is green.
Air: The upper right-hand point. Its color is yellow.
Akasha: The top point. Its colors are white and purple.
