Name: Simon William Baxter Gender: Male B-Day: August 25 Age: 17 Height: 5'7" Weight: 148 Hair Color: Black Eye Color: Green Phobias: - Dentists: Holy crap does this boy hate dentists; they are seriously some of the scariest people you will ever meet. Though, just cuz he hates them, doesn't mean he doesn't go to them. - Loss: He fears this most of all, losing people he loves. He lost his mother and basically lost his father. He didn't want to lose anyone else that he has grown close to. Likes: - Music: Mostly rock and punk. - Movies: Horror movies at the best! And action isn’t far behind that. - Girls: This area was kinda narrowed down when Lizzie came along. Dislikes: - Farming: He hates this with a passion, being raised around it was enough contact with farming he ever wanted. - Liars: People who lie right to his face usually get a good beating. Though it depends on the severity of the lie really. - Back Stabbers: If you are gunna double cross someone, don't get close to them first. Especially if that person is going to be Simon, its just not a smart move. Personality: Simple, badass, or maybe a sad attempt at being a badass? He is willing to stand his ground and fight for what he believes in or fight for his honor; he's not a coward. But when it comes to a few people, he gets angry easily when people talk bad about them. Those people are his mom, dad and Lizzie. Though he puts off that badass act and attitude, he is a push over. He likes little kids and is pretty good with them, he understands them, basically because, and he himself is rather immature. Simon is also rather good with females. He is charming and playful. One big word most people would use to describe him would be, flirt. He is a major flirt, and he doesn't hide it. Most people don't mind it but he knows he can get on peoples nerves with very little effort. But besides Simon being a flirt, he is protective, just like most people. He keeps his personal things to himself and doesn't let things out much unless he knows the person very good. He has trust issues to make that short and sweet. He doesn't like it but he cant change it, he was hurt in his life, his mother leaving him and his father turning his back on his children made Simon think twice about trusting people and giving his feelings up. Lizzie had been the one to get through his hard shell in high school and since her, no one else has. History: Simon Baxter was born and raised in, well, the middle of nowhere. His father, Jacob, was a farmer, so that is what him and his brother, Justin, were suppose to grow up and become. His father had dreams of his sons taking over the family farm and then he could retire with his wife, Sue, somewhere nice. Though, that dream was not to be realized by him. At least not with the help of Simon. Simon had very little interest in the farm and when ever possible, left to hang out with friends in town. He had always been a small town kid; everyone knew everyone and that was they way people liked it. His mother worked as a waitress at the diner in town, so she heard most of the gossip and over dinner or breakfast she would let it spill to the kids. Not that it was ever that interesting to the kids seeing as they were a little too young for it to matter too much. Through out school Justin kept to himself and out of trouble, his younger brother, Simon was totally opposite; Simon was the skater punk wanna be, with his baggy cloths and attitude. Though, he did try skating once or twice, he was never any good at it so he gave up. He was more into the music scene after that but still hang out with the other guys just because those were his friends and he wasn't going to walk away from them just because he couldn't skate. During his junior high years at school he turned out good grades and still stayed out till all hours of the night. He would always get a ride home from someone, usually one of the high school kids he hung out with. His parents hated his behavior but there was nothing that they could do, or so they thought, so they let the phase run its course. Though, it was not a phase, he is still that way today. Wanting to get into trouble and have an attitude. Though at the end of his 7th grade year, his parents weren't such a happy couple anymore. His mother had heard of too many rumors going around about her husband cheating on her that she couldn't be happy anymore. His mother walked out on their lives to go live with her mother until she could come back for her sons, or trust her husband again. Simon hit a bad streak then, he was kicked out of his home school for a year for fighting. He had beaten up a kid that was in one grade higher then him which led the other kids to look up to him. Though, it would be another year before he could go back. At his new school he was treated like an outsider, being from the nearby rival town. Though he did get a few friends before he could go back to his home school. They still kept in touch when he went back as well. Insert Story #1 (IC) Simon stepped from the school bus, adjusting his backpack as he did so. He took the time to look around, remembering the school and the teachers and kids. He grinned to himself, home... It had been an entire year since he had been back here, and for some messed up reason, he had actually missed the place. He started towards the doors and just as he was about to open one a familiar voice sounded from behind him. "YO! Simon!" Simon turned around and looked over at the origin of the voice. "Hey Mike..." he gave a little wave and then turned back towards the door and pulled it open. He stepped into the school with Mike taking step next to him. "Welcome back man." Mike said clapping him on the back. "Need to get your schedule?" "Nope, that was all taken care of already." He said as he dug it from his pocket and handed it to Mike. Mike took it and looked it over, nodding to himself as he handed it back. "Most of the same classes, that's good." "Yeah..." Simon said as he glanced down at his locker assignment. "Freshman year eh man?" He said as he grinned some and started towards where he knew his locker would be. "Yep, almost outta here!" Mike yelled causing people to look in there direction, not that either of them cared. "So, any new people I should be interested in? I mean... I've been gone a whole year... I need information." Simon said as he waved to someone who called his name, already getting a warm welcome from old friends and classmates. "Umm, you'll meet 'em all in due time my friend. Lets just get to your locker and to class, your bus was kinda late." Mike said as he leaned against the locker next to Simons. He crossed his arms over his chest and looked at the people rushing by to get to class without being late. Simon looked at the paper and then put the combination into the lock and it opened easily. He nodded and tossed his backpack into the locker and then grabbed his notebook and slammed the locker shut. "Lets go to class." "Righty-o" nodded and then started to lead the way towards their science class. It didn't take very long to get there, only a few minutes and as soon as they did the bell rang. The teacher looked at the two and told them to take their seats. There were a few open ones and the two moved to the back and sat down. Simon took the time while the teacher read the announcements to look over the people in class. He knew most of them, except a few, though they looked familiar so he was sure they weren't new so he glanced at the one that didn't look at all familiar. A girl sitting by Ally Maxwell. Her head was down and her pen was dancing over a piece of paper. He nudged Mike and pointed to the girl. Her dark hair shined purplish in the light, and she looked alone. "Who's that?" "Lizzie Ledger, she started here a week after you were kicked. She's a nice, quiet... but nice." Mike shrugged. Then the teacher looked over at them with a stern glare and the two shut up. "Simon Baxter, you don't want to get in trouble your first day back do you?" the teachers voice rang out. Simon smiled "No Sir, wouldn't dream of it..." "Good..." The teacher put a textbook on Simon's desk. "Now get to work." He said and then went back to work. Simon looked at the stuff on the board and sighed at the assignment and then looked at Mike, "Whats this crap?" "Work? We have groups though, 3 people groups, but he wont care if you join mine I'm sure... come on..." Mike picked up his things and started to move over towards the new girl and Ally. Simon sighed "They were your partners?" He said as he grabbed his stuff and followed. "Assigned groups, dude." Mike said and then took a seat near the two girls, "Hello ladies..." Ally looked up at Mike and stuck her tongue out and then smiled at Simon as he sat down. "Hey Simon, welcome back." "Thanks..." Simon said opening his book and taking the time to get a closer look at Lizzie. "This is Lizzie, she came here after you left. Lizzie, this is Simon Baxter." Ally said with a smile. Lizzie looked up from her work and smiled at Simon, "Hi..." "Hi..." Simon said and smiled back, then looked down at his work and glanced over at what Lizzie had been writing, and it sure didn't look much like science. "Whatcha writing?" He asked curiously. "A story, nothing all that special." Lizzie said and blushed some. "Oh? Can I read it?" Simon said now more interested. He looked at her, her hazel eyes sparkled beautifully in the light in the class room. "Maybe some other time..." She said and then opened her textbook basically indicating that he had flirted enough with her for now. Simon took the hint and stopped and got to work on their assignment... -END- Lizzie became a new interest in Simons life, he admired her there was no doubt about that. From the way she carried herself to the way she didn't give a damn about what others really thought about her. Or, that was at least how she played it off as. About one year later, Simon found out a dark secret about Lizzie's life, and it was something that he vowed to help her with no matter what... Insert Story #2 (IC) Simon poked Lizzie, they were sitting in English class, the last hour of the day before they had to go home. She looked over at him, she still looked upset, she had looked that way all day and he had hoped to find out why now. He smiled and moved from his desk next to hers, he kneeled down and rested his head on the desk. "You ok?" Lizzie looked at him and smiled "Yep." She leaned back and sighed. He could already tell that was a lie and the smile was forced. He watched her movements as she pulled up her sleeves a little and he caught a glimpse of something that would change their lives forever. The red angry scratches and scabs that were on her forearms. He frowned at the sight of them, not sure how to take it. Though she soon caught his glance and pulled the sleeves back down, hiding the damage from view. Simon looked up at her somewhat confused. "What happened?" "Nothing." "Cats?" "No." "Did your step dad do that?" He had always heard that he was an ass and he just wondered. "No." "Who or what?" he frowned, wanting to help her. The bell rang and Lizzie got to her feet and grabbed her things and started towards the door. Simon grabbed her arm and stopped her. "Tell me!" "It doesn’t matter!" She yelled at him and tried to pull away but he kept his grip. "It does to me! Tell me what's going on." "No!" "Tell me!" She was angry that’s when she slapped him. He stood there dazed for a moment, he had let go of her and she also looked so very shocked at her actions. She shook for a moment and then burst into tears. "I'm so sorry!" She said and Simon nodded and put his arms around her and pulled her to him. "It's ok Liz. We'll work this out. I'm here for you... I swear I'll always be here for you... Always...." -END- After that day their friendship was close, she would tell him about the fights her parents were having about her actions and how her step dad wanted to send her away to a mental home. Lizzie and Simon would spend hours just talking about what was going on in her life and how he could help, if he could. He got her to throw out her blades, and promise to get help. But one day, she didn't show up at school. It was their junior year in high school. Simon didn't think much of her not showing up for one day, she often just skipped out on days for no reason, though it soon turned into two days... then three... Insert Story #3 (IC) Simon was sitting in first hour for the third day in a row, listening to the teacher babble on about some bullshit that he could careless about at the moment. He looked next to him at the empty seat, she usually was sitting there, smiling and making some stupid comment to him about the teacher or the assignment. She had changed so much since the first day he had met her, she became more open and less likely to say no to someone. Simon nodded to himself, coming to the decision to skip the rest of the day after this class and go to her house to see what was up with her. He then tried to pay attention when a voice crackled over the PA system. "Ms. Shaw, could you please send Simon Baxter to the office." Simon frowned for a moment, he hadn't done anything bad lately, what the hell was this about? He got up from his seat, taking his things with him and ignoring the calls from the other kids about seeing him in three days or some Smartass who said see you next year. He walked out and down the empty hall towards the principal's office. As he entered the office, and looked at the secretary, she pointed towards the principals office and smiled. Simon nodded and walked to it and opened to door. He stopped as he saw the people standing in it. Lizzie's mom Mrs. Greenly, the principal Mr. Marks and a police officer. Mr. Marks was the first to speak, "Simon, please sit down, we only have a few questions to ask." He said and motioned to the seat next to Mrs. Greenly. Simon nodded and took the seat. He glanced at Lizzie's mom and noted that her eyes were red from crying as it seemed because she had a tissue in her hand. Simon looked at Mr. Marks "What happened to her?" he asked, knowing it had to be about Lizzie. The police officer spoke up to answer the question. "Elizabeth ran away two days ago-" "Ran away?!" Simon jumped up from his seat "Are you serious?!" "Simon, sweetie, calm down." Mrs. Greenly said as she reached out and placed a calming hand on the boys arm. "Sit down, Simon... we need your help." Simon sat down and rested his elbows on his knees and then hung his head. His shaggy hair hiding his eyes and his emotions from the other people. The news was devastating. "Do you know where she could have gone?" The officer spoke up once more. "No... I don't... She always talked about running away... Never once did I think she would actually do it... never..." His voice shook, it was clear that he was close to tears. "Oh Simon..." Mrs. Greenly said lightly and rubbed the boys back, "It's not your fault... Lizzie was..." She shut up then, but then spoke up once more. "You were a good friend to her..." "I still am..." Simon said, fighting the urge to get the woman's arm off him. "It's ok..." "I'll bring her back... I promise..." Simon said as he looked up, his eyes shining with the tears that have yet to fall. "And how do you plan on doing that?" the police officer asked. "I'm going to find her." He glared at the officer. "I'll leave tomorrow." "No you wont!" The principal said sternly. "Stop me..." Simon grinned and then got up from his seat. "Simon, sweetie, the police are doing everything they can." Mrs. Greenly spoke up. "Bullshit!" Simon shouted. "If that was true they would have found her! How hard is it to find a fucking 16 year old girl!?" The police officer was looking annoyed. "Boy, you better watch it." Simon shook his head and headed for the door once again. "Simon Baxter, you better sit down right now!" Mr. Marks called after him. Simon stopped at the door, looking down at his shoes and then grinned to himself, he turned around and shook his head. He lifted his right hand and flicked off the people in the room while opening the door with his left, "Consider this my goodbye." He said and then he left. Simon quickly got to his locker and emptied it out, then went out to his car and headed home. He would start planning on leaving when he got there and leave tomorrow. -END- Simon had left the next day, with his fathers zoid and only six hundred dollars in his pocket from selling his car. He would find Lizzie and demand to know what happened, why did she run away from him? Why did she run away from her family? And, was she getting any better? He took the zoid and left, stopping in towns along the way to go to the ZBC offices and ask about a pilot by the name of Lizzie Ledger. Then, after months of traveling he got to the town by the name of Daikoku, he got a hit. She had been the leader of a team in the area and was still battling every now and then. Simon found her, after months of looking he had found her, now the question was, could he actually talk to her. He needed to know that she was alright, he needed to talk to her at least once and if she didn't want him to stay, he would understand and he would go back home and work the farm. But if she needed him, he would be there for her, he had made a promise to her and he wasn't going to break it unless she told him to leave. So now after finding a quick place to live he would have to work up the courage to find her and talk to her. Appearance: Simon is basically of average height. He weights a little less then he should probably but he is indeed strong and muscular. His shaggy hair is black, and falls around his face some. His green eyes are deep and do change shades every now and then. The expression on his face is usually one of those 'I don’t give a shit' type looks and in all honesty, he doesn’t. He dresses like a punk normally, baggy jeans and shirts. His hair unkept and messy. Nowadays he can be seen with a leather hip length jacket and black clothes. His wears boots or skater shoes. His idea of dressing nice is basically wearing clean clothes that aren’t too wrinkled. Though every now and then he might wear a dress shirt and dress pants, but that’s a rare thing to see anymore. He also normally has his headphones on and can't hear what people are saying because his music is playing. So if people don’t get a reaction out of him the first time, that’s usually why. |
