Business Breakfast Meeting:
Where's the Game?
Whats the deal with the game?
For those who missed the award winning first annual business breakfast meeting, you missed a lot.  As toted, this was not to be missed and I thank those in attendance last night, I feel it was a worthwhile endevaour for all involved.  So what if we had to move sites?  That wont stop the most Xtreme Softball Association in town!  When we walked in the doorway of Steak N Shake, agendas in hand, we had planned on talking about how we were going to get an XSA
game to be planned locally.  Just so happened that there she was, taking our orders.  We met her last time we were in (see related story) the establishment, gave her our contact info, so we could get a game going.  We received no word, Hunter McKee blasted her in his column, the XSA turned on this girl in a heartbeat.
We were fast to ask questions and even quicker to forgive, if she was lying it was a great story she made up.  Her mom had washed the paper we gave her, making it useless.  We were all relieved whe she stated she really wanted to play and even more surprised by the fact that she served us again, after being jerks and poor tippers last time!
she turn out to be a nice girl, whom got very candid with a group of strange guys, which all in attendance found odd.  She turned into our guest speaker, telling us everything from her sexual preference, to her hometown and everything in between.  Amazing, yes, starved for attention, who cares!  She will be the first girl to bat in an official XSA game, I will see to that.
Now, because of Cheryl, anytime that loveable man yells "you have mail," when my computer is on, everyone in the National Office runs to see who the mail is from.  So far, no mail from here, but it has been less then 24 hours since we gave her the website and email address again.
So in closing, I would like to welcome Cheryl back to the XSA.  The XSA's prodigal daughter.  You were loved, hailed as the one to bring softball to Wesselmen's, then you were shunned for your lack of calling or writing.  Now you are back in our good graces, a spot which I hope you like enough to bring you and 17 of your softball playing friends to a real state to compete.  This will put you in the XSA Hall-of-Fame as well as keep you in our good graces for a long, long time!
