    For more than fourty years RIMCU has conducted locally, nationally and internationally-funded studies.  To date, more than 400 research projects have been successfully completed on such topics as:

• Demographic studies (fertility, mortality, migration, urbanization, family planning, aging);
• Socio/economic and cultural factors involved in the development process;
• Health, nutrition, medical and epidemiology research;
• Intergroup relations, tribal peoples and their culture;
• Women and women issues;
• Issues of governance and democratization;
• Studies of the Filipino family and the effects of changes;
• Marketing research and opinion polling;
• Anthropological studies;
• Poverty and employment related issues;
• Ecological/environmental issues; and
• Evaluation studies.
