This baby iguana came in due to a lady purchasing him for her kids, who got tired of him after a few months. Sadly, this is very common. Other iguanas end up in rescue, because people don't realize how big they can get or how aggressive they can be if not handled for a young age. Please, learn all you can about Iguanas before you adopt.
To be considered for adoption of an iguana, you must have a demonstrated knowledge of the proper care for large Iguanas, be willing to provide pictures of your setup or have a home visit completed by a reptile volunteer, and drive to TN to complete the adoption since we are not willing to ship. |
