Resources
Here are a few web sites and phone numbers  that could be extremly helpful to you throughout your jouney into motherhood. These sites I highly recommend.
Planned Parenthood
Planned Parenthood is a nation-wide government funded service. It provides COMPLETLEY confidential services to you. They do pregnancy testing, tests for STD's and if you want to be put on the "pill" they do all this there and more. They also have great pamphlets, and great information on what other services are availible to you in your local area. They never talk to your parents unless you say its alright,..... and their services are usually free untill you turn 19 years of age. check out this link to learn more about Planned Parenthood and their services.
Baby Center
The Baby center is a great web site with much to offer. Learn about your baby's development, see what it may look like. Buy baby cloths and toys, learn about labor and delivery. You also can subscribe to get a newsletter on your babys development after its born. Its great, I subscribe for Cody and the letter is very informative, presice, and they dont spam. Baby Center has much to offer, click their link to see what else the have!
WIC
(Women, infants, and children) Is a nation wide program that focuses on low incomed families. They provide information on health care, breastfeeding and proper nutrition . If qualified, you receive their services, including checks for milk ,cereal, eggs, cheese, fomula and more depending on what you lack. Its a wonderful program and I know many people who have utulized it and were very satisfied. The average cost for baby formula is 12$ a can, and Wic can save you over 100$ a month in formula alone. If you think you would qualify, and for a WIC office near you, please click this link.
