Marlene & Neva are a mother daughter team that work very hard together to make your experience with the American Saddlebred one you will never forget. They have won numerous worldwide awards and honors not only for winning competitions, but for their didcated involvement in promoting, training, and showing the American Saddlebred horse. Their training and lesson programs emphasize enjoyment in horses along with instruction and hard work. |

Safety while riding and working around horses is important; therefore, all students have the option to wear riding helmets. Helmets are available for use at the stable. Wear sturdy hard soled shoes or boots and long pants. |

LaFleur VanEss Stables invites people of all ages to enjoy and perticipate in our lesson program. You will not only learn about riding, but all aspects needed to maintain and care for horses.
Instruction will be based on:
~How to conduct yourself safely around horses.
~How to ride English - Beginner through Advanced
~Proper horse care - Feeding, Cleaning, Grooming, Tacking, Basic Medical Care, ETC.
~Different breeds - Types and colors of horses
~Horsemanship
~Showmanship in the ring
~Sportsmanship
~Horse anatomy and psychology |

LaFleur VanEss Stables offers a complete riding and showing program. We can take you from the very fist ride to competing in the country's most prestigious horse shows. We emphasize the personalized attention needed for the accomplished horse person to compete at the toughest level. Our lesson program continues throughout the year in our extraordinary large indoor arena with well qualified instructors. |

Please make wure you and/or you child is up to date on their last tetanus shot. We also need to be informed of any allergies or medical needs. |

In the summer, we offer a Horse Lover's Day Camp. We invite children 7-17 years of age to attend. Please ask for information and dates. The next camp is August 5-9, 2002. |
