The Walk of Life

The walk of life

Begins by following

Through all the strife

We're guided in growing

A foundation is formed

Yet the process has only begun

For we must become

Our own person deciding where to run

Somos libres por fin

Pero donde iremos

Por aca o alla

O qualquier lugar

Somos responsables

Por nuestro destino

Y aprenderemos

En donde nos va

We work and we learn

So to find our way

We are in control of our lives

Yet where will we go?

We know and we're going

We'll overcome the bad

Our path is so small

Yet we find joy on the path

The Walk of life

Has now come full circle

No longer to follow

It's time now to lead

We've found on our way

The journey's the answer

Not a means to the end of becoming

Our own person, deciding where to run
