Hey your' still reading?
hehe, ok my way.. next to my regular trainings I also train alone or with a friend of myn. This training is more based on feeling. React without thinking, that kind of stuff. Well, the thing behind this training is this:

I think that you should not fight on a systematic way, I think you should fight on a way of feelings. Let your body react to what is coming for it. Together with this training goes meditation which works for me. It sharpens me up and calms me down.

That is a part of "my way" and next to that I just train myself in different weapons like:

     - Nunchaku's
     - Jo
     - Kali stick

I'm not a big fan of weapons but it is pretty fun practicing with it.

Anyway, to go deeper on my way in training.
To fight with feeling means not to think. Just go with the flow and let your body(instinct) react to what is coming for you. Now i'm not suggesting to attack your opponent like a savage beast! It has allot to do with control else your body won't react on feeling. In order to get a sharp feeling meditation is one of the key-elements but it can also wear your down.
Just relax your body in a fight and keep a steady breathing patern.

Now, just flow! For all I care close your eyes.. This all sounds like a bit of supernatural powers but its not. Its just the combination of mind & body. When you have trained it well you will have a 360 degrees in feeling range.

For example:
Once I had a tournament and within one of those fights I needed to dodge a couple of highkicks. So I just ducked but with one of my legs stepping backward and in some way my back was turned towards my opponent. He saw this as een opening and I felt his intention of kicking me on the head. So again I ducked and made the same turn so was fully facing my oppenent. Now leaving him in an opening and kicking straight trough his defense.

Do you understand what i'm saying here?.. I hope so, well this all only comes forth from feeling! So if you sharpen your senses, intuition, instict to the max I fight will be much more easy!

So basic elements for me in fighting on feeling is:

- Meditation
- a calm mind
- a calm body
- Blindfolded training
- no thinking

Good luck with your training!
