Roleplaying/HTML Help

This part of the page can be used for any of you who want to learn some HTML Codes to help you use colors, or different things in your RP's, as well as a few RP Tips to help you improve. Use what you want.

Texts- This part is for the different types of text and the HTML you need to know to use them.

Bold- The command for using Bold is very simple to open it just type and then write in this area, when your ready to close it then type. There you go the simpleness of using Bold Text.

Italics- This command is as simple as Bold because you just simply switch the letter. You type to open it and then to close it you type. As simple as that.

Underline Text- Also as simple as the previous two. To open it you type and then to close it you type . Then there you have it.

Combining- You can also combine any of the previous texts as simple as going to open them and then to close them. Choose any you want to combine...it works the same.

<--Marquee Text- This is simple to do just type <marquee>then what you want in the marquee text form then to close it type</marquee>

Font Colors

If you want to learn how to add color to your RP's this is where you can learn how to do it. Note that color is not needed in RP's and you should first be able to write a good RP before even worrying about Colors and all the add-ons to make your RP's look nice.

- This is the code you use when you want to put colors in your RP's though you substitute the # 's for Color Code numbers. To find out the different color code numbers click here. So if you wanted to use the color blue..you'd simply put This is blue text and if you want to close it you simply go

Another way you can add font color, though I never used this way, is to simply put the name of the color instead of the # 's. So for blue you'd simply put then you'd have blue text and to close it you'd do that the same way by putting

Roleplaying Help

These are just things that worked for me. You don't have to follow my ways, heck you can critize what I say here..but then again before you do that I suggest you glance at my record in the Hall of Fame, Jerky!

Now for each of these things I put here I'll give an example of what is good and what is bad so you'll know the difference.

Setting

I think it's always a good idea to have a setting in an RP, and not to have your RP open up in some Oblivious place, and your wrester is just suddenly talking. Mine were mostly in the Arena, or Commissioner's office..but when I used a created charcter I had more possibilties..I don't why..just seemed different..anyways here we go.

Bad Example 1-

The music hit and the crowd jumped to their feet as Chris Jericho walked out, jericho jumped into the ring, lifted up a microphone and began to talk.

Bad Example 2-

The DIWF crowd was barely audible as they sat in their chairs glancing impatiently over the arena, looking at their watches, yawning, and stomping their feet and waiting for the appearance of the next DIWF Superstar. Suddenly the lights went out and the DIWF crowd began to hurriedly stand to their feet in a rush, the Y2J Countdown appeared on the DIWF-tron lighting the arena slightly as the light glowed over the crowd, and the crowd went wild with roars which echoed around the arena. The Countdown on the Y2J Countdown began to start and the numbers began to decrease as the DIWF Crowds anticipation grew ever so stronger as each number disappeared on the countdown on the countdowns path to the final number.

The countdown the suddenly faded but suddenly the presence of the disappearing of the countdown on the DIWF-tron wasn't noticeable as a blast of pyro exploded, smoke momentariously covering up the Entrance way before clearing quickly as "Break the Walls Down" the music which signals for the Entrance of DIWF Superstar Chris Jericho begins to play and the rest of the crowd hops to their feet as Chris Jericho stands, back turned towards the crowd, arms spread wide, a shiney material made shirt shines as the entrance lights glow off the material. Chris Jericho then spins around, showing off his Wrestling tights and "Ayatollyah Style" T-shirt, he yells out hyping up the crowd to the perfect pitch as he slowly makes his way down towards the ring, slapping hands with the DIWF Fans who stand at the front row area. He begins to make his way to the ring, every step drawing him closer to his goal, the DIWF Crowd cheering him on as he suddenly stops and looks to his left and his right and yells out "Yeah Baby" which the crowd begins to cheer ever so louder as he does so, Chris Jericho then begins walking over towards the steel ring steps. He closes in on the and begins to make step after step up the ring steps before climbing a foot on to the ring apron and then steping on the ring apron. He walks his side facing the crowd towards the center of the ring apron, he then turns and yells out once more before stepping a leg into the ring and then pulling the remaing leg into the ring. He walks to the center of the ring and then reaches his right hand into the inside of his shiney material jacket and pulls out a microphone, a banner that says "DIWF is JERICHO" adorns the microphone and shines boldly as Chris Jericho lifts the microphone and begins his address to the crowd.

As you can see of the two previous examples..The first one was to short with not enough description and the second had too many descriptions that weren't necessary. The following one is the best way to do a ring entrance.

Good Example-this was taken from one of my RP's so it has a little added on to it.

(The Scene opened up as DIWF Camera's scanned the inside of the DIWF Staples Center where DIWF Wenesday Night WAR will be held tonight. The fans stood tall to their feet waving their signs high into the air as the camera passed over, the signs said things such as "Who is Venom?", "DIWF = Y2J", and "Heather "Manager of Great Champions". The scene scanned around the arena that was set up for DIWF Wenesday Night WAR, the camera faded and then appeared at the ringside area in front of the DIWF Announcer's table where there sat Keith and Conrad the DIWF Announcers. The two DIWF Announcers were talking over the latest happenings and the Wenesday Night WAR Event tonight.)

Keith: Well Wenesday Night WAR tonight sure does have quite a line up and it's all headed up by Chris Jericho against Vempyr for the DIWF World Heavyweight Title! This will be the first meeting between the two men.

Conrad: That's right! Chris Jericho is going to lose two events in a row! I predicted he would lose to Venom and I was right, now I'm going to predict that Vempyr will win the DIWF World Title tonight! It's time for him to hold the title again.

Keith: Well Conrad....

Conrad: Oh great! I suppose you have some contradicting words here, Keith?

Keith: Well I can't discount Vempyr..but he's stepping into the ring with Chris Jericho! Chris Jericho has proven alot in his DIWF Career.

Conard: Big deal, Keith! I don't care what Chris Jericho has proven! Tonight Chris Jericho will find out just why Vempyr is the Sickest man in the DIWF! He's going to get the beating of his life..a Y2J Beating is nothing compared to a Vempyr beating!

(The Lights suddenly go out and the DIWF Fans stand to their feet and begin to cheer loudly in anticipation. Suddenly the Y2J Countdown appears on the DIWF-tron and the fans begin to cheer louder.)

Keith: Well you can say whatever but were about to here from Chris Jericho now!!!

(The Y2J Countdown then fades and the arena is again dark, the fans continue to cheer loudly. Suddenly a blast of pyro hits.)

*BLAST*

("Break The Walls Down" Chris Jericho's theme music begins to play and the crowd begins to cheer even louder as Chris Jericho stands with his back to the crowd, arms spread wide and the DIWF World Heavyweight Title in his right hand, to his side is Heather, she faces the crowd holding up her right hand. Chris Jericho is wearing a T-shirt, on the back of his shirt it says "AYATOLLYAH STYLE". Chris Jericho suddenly spins around putting his left arm around Heather as he begins to shout out to the crowd to hype them up and they begin to cheer loudly as he raises the DIWF World Heavyweight Title into the air. The front of his shirt says "Breakin The Walls Down!". Heather wears a T-shirt which says "Y2J" in bold letters on the front, Chris Jericho and Heather begin to walk down to the ring as Chris Jericho starts showing off the DIWF World Title and slapping hands with the fans as the announcers resume commentary at the DIWF announce table.)

Keith: There he is, Conrad!! The DIWF World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho!!! Chris Jericho will take on Vempyr tonight, and The Rock and Vempyr at WrestleWar! He's got quite a schedule ahead of him.

Conrad: A schedule that I'm sure he won't be able to stand up to! You praise Chris Jericho all the time but you have to admit that with this schedule there is no way Chris Jericho will retain his DIWF World Title!

Keith: I won't admit a thing, Conrad! You can't just discount Chris Jericho!

Conrad: Ha! Watch me!

(Chris Jericho walks over to the side of the ring and then grabs on the ropes and lifts himself to the ring apron, reaching a hand down he helps Heather up onto the apron, Chris Jericho holds the ropes open as Heather climbs into the ring. Chris Jericho walks in front of the fans on the ring apron and then turns and faces the DIWF crowd and raises the DIWF World Title in the air and the crowd goes crazy with cheers and begins to chanct "Y2J, Y2J, Y2J". Chris Jericho smiles and then turns and climbs into the ring. He walks over to the turnbuckle and climbs to the second turnbuckle and again lifts the DIWF World Title high into the air and the crowd again cheers. Chris Jericho then climbs down and walks to the center of the ring as Heather stands in front of him and to his right as he rests his arm on her shoulder again, Chris Jericho pulls out a microphone. The microphone says "DIWF is JERICHO" on the front of it. He smiles and the crowd begins to chant "Y2J, Y2J, Y2J" louder. Chris Jericho lowers the mic and paces around as the crowd goes crazy. Chris Jericho then steps back into the center of the ring and raises his mic as the crowd calms.)

Tips to Remember:

1) Never get mad! Win, Lose, or Draw don't get mad because you should remember first and foremost that it's a game. You will probably get mad at losses, it's natural, but don't go as far as to complain to the owner, because it's not going to help and he'll just end up jobbing you, or booking you in tough matches because you will have gotten on his nerves.

2) Write Run-Ins. You don't have to write a run-in on every show, and don't always write them in to help you win, unless you know you are and you want to do it in a special way. Write them to build up a fued or build heat against someone your going against. Run-Ins help do that alot, make sure to write good run-ins think of something clever or smart to do, do something your charcter would do.

3)When writing Roleplays don't rush it. If your in a rush you'll come out with a bad RP, if you don't have time, then write some one day..and finsh it the next day. It's not a competition to see who can write the most RP's, your trying to write the best RP you can write to get a win, Quality not Quantity!!

4)Don't rush to become the Heavyweight Champion, no matter how good you are, because if you do and you get there and your the best what's the fun of it? You would just have rushed to get a title without having competition against anyone, without taking the time, and then you'll be at the top, you'll be the best, and trust me after a while that does get old.

5)I'll add more later maybe..but for now the only rule I can say and it's not necessary but you should just have fun and not get pissed off if you lose...unless it's a Conspiracy..I've been there...
