“Down with the sickness” blasts on the PA system as Angelus walks to the ring

Kris Gaffney- I bet somewhere, someone just stole Angelus theme song

King-It’s a good song, guess we could see why

JR-Hopefully Angelus is not taking Benoit too lightly, or he could be an ex-champion! BAH GAWD *jobs*

[Benoit and Angelus meet in the middle of the ring and then they both start talking a little bit and then Angelus starts to point at Benoit at some point and then Benoit throws his hand away a few times and then answers with a few hard fists and then Angelus backs up and then Benoit whips Angelus to the ropes and then Angelus bounces off and Benoit nails a running forearm to the face. Angelus stumbles up and then gets knocked down with a knife edge chop, Angelus stumbles up and then Benoit kicks Angelus in the gut and then hits a snap suplex that makes Angelus roll out of the ring. To rethink his game plan, Benoit tries to follow him but he’s told to stay back and then Angelus moves to the other side of the ring as he takes his time to get into the ring and then he jumps on the apron and then he yells something at a certain fan. As he takes his eyes off Benoit and Benoit uses the ropes to bring Angelus back into the ring and he goes crashes into the mat and then Benoit hits a few stomps on the downed Angelus. Angelus stumbles up and then Benoit hits a few forearm shots to the face of Angelus and then whips him to the ropes. Angelus bounces off the ropes and then Benoit uses his momentum against him throwing him up in the air and then he goes crashing into the mat. Angelus is now on his knee’s in pain and then Benoit backs up and then hits a low drop kick to Angelus and takes him the rest of the way down and then Benoit goes into the cover and gets a 1……………….2…….kick out. Benoit holds Angelus arm in place and then hits a big knee drop into the arm of Beniot and then puts Angelus into an arm bar. Angelus looks for a way out of the move and then gets to his feet and then looks for another way out and Angelus backs to the ropes and then whips Benoit off the ropes. Benoit bounces off the ropes and then hits a big shoulder block, Angelus stumbles up and then charges at Benoit and Benoit is able to counters this by picking up Angelus and then dropping him for a back breaker across the knee and then Angelus stumbles up after a time and then Angelus goes into the cover and then Benoit hits a few knife edge chops on Angelus and then Benoit tries to whip Angelus to the opposite side of the ring. But it’s reversed by Angelus, Benoit bounces out of the corner trying to hit a clothesline on Angelus. But Angelus is able to counter with a scoop power slam and falls off the cover]

JR-Angelus with a nice move, but it’s without a doubt that Benoit came to play

King-Well he know that you don’t get too many world championship shots

Kris Gaffney-He should use a can of mustard to the face

[Angelus slowly gets up after being beaten so far and then Angelus hits a few stomps on the downed Benoit. Benoit gets to his knee and then Angelus punts Benoit in the stomach with a few kicks, Benoit stumbles up and then Angelus kicks him in the gut and then putting him down and then Angelus goes behind him and then hooks up Benoit and then lifts him up bounces him off the top rope and hits a reverse vertical suplex on Benoit. Angelus grins after the big move hoping that it might taken out Benoit and then goes into the cover and gets a 1………………2………..kick out. Angelus looks up and then decides not to question it and then goes back on the attack as Benoit stumbles up, Angelus hits a few hard fists and then whips him to the ropes, he bounces off the ropes and then Angelus hits a pattern spinning heel kick on Benoit. Benoit stumbles up after a time and Angelus hits an inverted jaw breaker on Benoit. Angelus knowing that’s probably not going to put Benoit away pulls up Benoit by the hair and then takes him and then throws him shoulder first into the ring post. Benoit smacks the post really hard and then he slowly pulls himself out of the corner and then Angelus waits for Benoit. Benoit stumbles towards him and then Angelus kicks Benoit in the gut and then nails a piledriver on Benoit. Angelus goes into the cover and then gets the 1…………………..2…………..kick out. Angelus can’t believe he didn’t get the three count for sure after that]

King-That was 3, right? Is Angelus a winner

Kris Gaffney-That ref’s going to have his dog killed for that one…

[Angelus gets in the ref’s face and then Angelus turns around and then he goes for a running clothesline. But Benoit ducks it and then hits a germen suplex, holds on and then hits a second one, and then hits a third one and lets go. Benoit stumbles up and then does his throat cut and then goes into the turnbuckle and then hits the swan dive head butt and nails it! Benoit goes into the cover, and gets the 1………………2…………kick out. Benoit waits for Angelus, Angelus stumbles up and then Benoit tries to bring him down with a cross face. But Angelus is able to push Benoit off and then Benoit goes crashing into the ref who goes down and then Benoit turns right into the slain. Angelus goes into the cover, but there is no ref after a few moments and then Angelus gets pissed off and then tries to wake up the ref. The ref is sturing as Angelus waits for Benoit to get up, Benoit stumbles up and then goes for a Slain. But somehow out of pure instinct alone. Benoit is able to break out of the move and then drive Angelus down and then puts on the crippler crossface. Benoit is putting as much pressue as he can, Angelus tries to fight, tries to fight. The ref goes over and asks if he wants to give up Angelus refuses and then tries to roll through on the cross face. But Benoit holds on, it looks like Angelus fades away and then the ref looks at the hand not even bothering to rise it the other two times (much like the master lock when the guy is seemly unconscious, and calls for the bell)]

JR-I didn’t just see that…WE GOT A NEW WORLD CHAMPION

King-um…

Kris Gaffney- yeah, but why didn’t that ref decide to check Angelus arms the other two times…

JR-must have been pretty sure he was out

[As the bell rings, and the referee awards Chris Benoit the World Championship, Chris Jericho makes his way into the ring, helping Benoit to his feet and hugging him. Jericho says something to Benoit, then raises his hand in victory as the ref hands him the belt. Benoit raises the championship over his head, and as he does ECW's theme begins to play, causing the fans to stop cheering, and a snarl to come over Benoit's face as he lowers the belt. Paul Heyman walks out onto the stage just as medical personel are helping Angelus out of the ring. Angelus shrugs them off, and takes a few steps away, only to stumble down into the guard rail. A couple of the medical crew take him under each arm and help him up the ramp, they stop by Heyman, who says something to them, and they then let Angelus go, who some how manages to muster the strength to stand on his own. The music finally stops playing and Heyman grins as he raises the mic to speak.]

Heyman:" Well, well, well...Chris Benoit! I guess this is rather big moment for you isn't it Chris? I guess your feeling like your the biggest, baddest, man on the face of the planet right now. And why shouldn't you? After all, you just ended the longest winning streak in the EMF and your walking out of here tonight the new EMF World Heavyweight Champion. So, as I asked you already, why shouldn't you feel like the baddest man on the planet? Well, I'm going to tell you why Benoit. Its simply because you didn't win that match, it was given to you by that sorry ass referee and your little buddy Chris Jericho. Jericho, I don't know what strings you and Amy pulled in order to pay off that ref, but I do have an answer for it. As of this moment right now, that referee is no longer gainfully employed by the Extreme Measures Federation nor is he elegible for rehire by this company in the future. I know that you didn't think that anybody would notice. I know you thought that you would slip one by Paul Heyman and Angelus Archer. But as the footage plays on the EMFTron behind me, you will all notice that Angelus Archer never said I Quit, he never submitted, and he damn sure never tapped out. No, what happened is that the referee only raised his arm once to check and see if here were still in it, and when it dropped right back to the canvas, he called for the bell and awarded you the match Benoit. But, as you all know, proper procedure is for the arm to raised three times, and that it must fall all three times before the match can be stopped. Now, as much as it pains me, I cannot reverse the referee's decision, so you are officially the new World Heavyweight Champion. However, what I can do is this. I have put in a corporate injunction preventing you from altering the look of that championship in any shape or form for the next week. Which means that you'll have to walk around here with a title that still has the name Angelus Archer on it. Why would I, Paul Heyman, do this to a man who was so loyal to him in ECW? Well, I'm doing it because in the end, you all turned your backs on me when I needed you most. You all managed to screw me over somehow, and now I'm getting you all back. Thats why your going to have your first title defense right here on Shockwave next week Benoit. Oh, but its not going to be just any title defense, no you'll be defending the title against the man you just stole it from, "The Slayer Of Life" Angelus Archer. I know, your thinking that its no big deal right? Your thinking that you beat him tonight in a match, that you can do it again. Oh, but next week it won't be a match like it was tonight! No, next week Chris Benoit, you will be defending the Extreme Measures Federation World Heavyweight Championship inside the confines of a steel cage. Oh, not just any steel cage though, a cage with numerou weapons attached to the inside of it. Thats right Benoit, next week it'll be you versus Angelus Archer in a good old fashioned, ECW style, HOUSE OF FUN MATCH!!!! So go home and mend the wounds from tonights match, and take a portrait of that championship, because come next Saturday, you'll never see it again. And that Chris Benoit, as my colleague here would say...IS A FUCKING GOSPEL!!!!!!"
