Why I like Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho is a tremendous athlete and a great entertainer, and the combination of the two have made him very successful in the WWF. He can always make me laugh, and the intensity of his matches often have me on the edge of my seat. I like Chris' attitude and trash-talking, and I like even more that he has the skill to back up his words. His charisma, aptitude for wrestling, and over all hotness attract many fans, and I myself am proud to say I am a Jerichoholic!

I know there are a lot of people who don't like Chris, and hey, that's fine if you don't. I'm always willing to debate why Chris is a good wrestler with someone who has a good argument as to why he isn't, but the people I've seen come to Jericho message boards or sign guestbooks of Jericho fans, people who just come to call Jericho obscene names and rip on the fans, are just moronic and asinine and really need to get a life and find a new hobby.

So what I am saying is, all of you Jerichoholics out there, enjoy the website, let me know what you think in the guestbook, drop me a line. Anti-Jerichoholics, enjoy the page too, but don't try any silly stuff. Just go find something else to do with your time. Get your own webpage. Thank you, and I hope none of the above paragraph applies to you!

Why I like Wrestling

Yeah. I'm a girl. And by being a female wrestling fan, most people assume that I just watch wrestling to look at the guys. Yeah, true. I do look at the guys. But that's not the whole reason I love wrestling. I mean, I'm sure plenty of guys just watch wrestling to look at all the chicks, so why does this false beleif only apply to women??? It's because wrestling is a male dominated sport I suppose. Anyhoo I'm not going to get into anything sexist, etc. I'd rather not deal with that type of argument...

I've only been a fan of wrestling for a few short monthes (December '99), and I really started watching wrestling by accident. I was channel surfing one Thursday evening and I flipped onto UPN 50 and caught The Rock right in the middle of telling off Triple H. Immediate Rock fan. As if that wern't enough, Edge, in his oh-so tight spandex pants, trench coat, and goofy smile and Christian were in a match next. Intrigued by the agile tag team, loving every clothes-line, moonsault and baseball slide, screaming in delight as Christian brought a steel chair to the ring, and practically drooling over the duo, Y2J was up next, and it was love at first sight! =) Since then I've rarely missed a Smackdown!, RAW IS JERICHO, or Heat.

I don't quite know why I didn't start watching wrestling before, it seemed the natural thing to do as many of my friends are avid fans, but I seemed to have a very disgusting image of Hulk Hogan grunting and tearing off his shirt before a match with a greased up, over muscled idiot wearing nasty pants and those oh-so-80's fringed boots. I imagined painfully fake matches and a hundred other turn-off's, but, man, I was so wrong! I'm sorry I let the stereo type that existed in my head cloud my judgement about wrestling, I'm sorry I didn't become a fan sooner.

So, I like wrestling because of all the hype surrounding it. I like wrestling because of the tremendous athleticism involved in the sport and the intensity of the athletes. I like the tension, the emotion, the competition, and I must admit, I love the trash talking! And, hey. I'll live up the female stereo type for just a moment. I'll put aside all of the other dozens of reason I like wrestling for just a moment and say, I like the guys. =) =) =)
