Hi everyone. This is my first post. I'm basically using this page to put miscellaneous facts on. I'll be posting information on some of my stories, answer reader's questions, and give a little more information about what happened in the chapters that I did not write about. So, basically this page is like one of those sections on a DVD where they have all of the cut-outs on the making of the movie. I hope you all enjoy. Thank you. | |||||||||||||||

Hello. New post today. I think I'll let you all in on a secret on LSFT. This next chapter that I'm writing will be about the wedding plans, however I do not know if I'll include the wedding, please write to me and tell me what you think. Not only that, but I thinks it's about time Serena met Darien's parents. So you'll all have to stay tuned for what happens next. Does Serena live happiliy ever after? I don't know, I think I might just kill her off. Also, I remember someone remarking on the fact that Darien was a twenty-three year old man and yet he still lives in fear of his parents--which makes Darien seem to be a weak character. It's not true. I don't know if it's just an asian thing or not, but regardless of your age, as the child to your parents you will always be looked down upon as that, their child. You cannot raise your voice to your parents or question their actions or even defend your little siblings from their attacks. When I was growing up as a child, that's how I was raised (not that I was abused in anyway like Darien; I was simply raised to understand the fact that the relationship between parents and children are built upon a large amount of respect and obedience, mainly from the child's side however), and Darien (in my story, that is) was raised that way too. He can do nothing about the way his parents choose to raise the family, and he'd never dare to strike back against his mother or father. Could you imagine what kind of man that would make him? By making Darien relent to his parents' beatings shows that he has great respect for his parents and has great character, honor and integrity. It does not make him a weak man, it, instead, makes him in everyway a stronger more complex person. |

I have a question for all of you: How many of you absolutely hate the beginning of Love is Such a Strange and Funny Thing? Because, I've become aware that even my rewrite of the first chapters are completely...um, what's the right word for it...crap? Can you all please send me a message and tell me what you really feel? Because I'd like to work on it after I finish LSFT. It'd be really great if you guys can help me out here. Also, the new chapter is put on hold once again, because of midterms this week. Spring break starts after today, so I hope to get a move on with the story. Two weeks of pure bliss--at least I hope so. I hope you guys are enjoying this season. |
