| Normally, only Jurai trees, such as Tsunami, can only create wings of the light hawk ("Ko-oh-yoko"). Tenchi can create wings without the tree's power, and convert those wings into other forms, as he demonstrated in the battle against Kagato [OVA Ep. 6]. |
| Originally when the series was named "Tenchi Muyo" was chosen because Tenchi means "heaven and earth" and Muyo means "no need." Later it was discovered these two words also mean "this side up." |
