Outside on the Harbourside

The Museum's biggest exhibits are outside and are brought to life on summer weekends. thy are 4 large Electric Cranes The Fairbairn Steam Crane A steam railway whith two steam loco's ( Portbury & Henbury ), Two tugs, John King (diesel)& Mayflower (steam) The fire-boat (Pyronaut), all Bristol-built and in working order,

The working exhibits also include the Fairbairn steam crane and the boats Mayflower and John King offer rides around the docks on certain weekends in the summer.

for one girl and her dad it's a trip around the docks on Pyronaut and then a quick photo at the wheel when no one's looking.
