Beneath the Earth
Back
A prickle drawing crimson stains
To fall beneath years of life and pain.
Where beat hearts of wonderous kinds;
A concious goal, a simple mind.

Searing souls held there deep,
To live within a restless sleep.
Coarsing endless through tattered veins;
Surge toward the falling rain.

Crawling under weakened pores.
Licking wounds and bleeding sores.
Flesh and fire, splayed on rock.
Learning lessons never taught.
