I
have attempted to provide up-to-date, trusted, credible patient
education materials on many
common psychiatric disorders and their treatment, in addition to
common problems faced by all of us. To do so, I've obtained articles
published by the top medical, psychiatric and allied organizations,
and published them on my
psychiatric information page.
You will find reliable information on
disorders such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression,
anxiety, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, addiction
and substance use disorders, geriatric disorders, issues related
to children and adolescents, and much more.
There is also a search feature
that allows one to quickly and easily browse through the expansive
Medical Library from leading
medical societies. I will be happy to respond to any questions
about the information on the web site, and requests for more
information
are welcome.
Visitors can also register on
my site to access more services, such as Secure Messaging,
which allows you to communicate with
me about confidential personal information with the security
of encryption that regular email lacks. To register, click
here! If
you have already registered, you need to log-in
here.
Please visit my
psychiatric information page and let me know what you think! |

I also
have a web
page at the McConnell Brain Imaging Centre (BIC) of the
Montreal Neurological Institute (MNI), which is where I do
my research.
As a child psychiatrist, I am interested in the neuroscience of brain development
and how psychiatric disorders and treatments (such as psychotherapy) influence
brain development.
In addition to neuroscientific and psychopharmacological research, the different
types of psychotherapy and psychoanalysis have been and always will be major
interests of mine. |
