| Millenium Items 5000 years ago, the Egyptian pharaohs played a magical game that was similar to the Duel Monsters game we play today. This ancient game game used magical ceremonies allowed them to see the future and a person's destiny. This was referred to as the Shadow Games and the monsters at this time were real. The monsters and magic on Earth became to powerful and threated to destroy the world, and so a brave Egyptian pharaoh stopped this evil with the 7 millenium items. Now, the evil has eturned to this world and the games are brought back as Duel Monsters and with cards,and the millenium items were rediscovered. Each of these 7 items has their own unique power bestowed within them. |
| Item: Millenium Puzzle Owner: Yugi Mutoh Ability: The ancient spirit of the brave egyptian pharaoh, Yami, resides within this item. Yugi can bring this spirit out anytime he wishes (mostly in a duel). The millenium puzzle also punishes those who are evil be sending them to the dark realm or clearing their minds. |
| Item: Millenium Ring Owner: Ryou Bakura Ability: This item also bears an anceint spirit inside, but this time it's an evil soul that used to be a Tomb Robber. This evil spirit wants to collect all the millenium items, probably to take over the world. The millenium ring can detect other nearby millenium items, use magic effects of the cards, and look into a person's soul. |
| Item: Millenium Eye Owner: Maximillion Pegasus Ability: Pegasus was given this item from his trip to Egypt 7 years ago when he met Shadi, protector of the Millenium Items. He was tested by the eye itself and he he was chosen to bare it (the painful way). If the Eye had not chosen him he would have been punished. So, Pegasus, creator of Duel Monsters uses the Eye's powers to cheat and read his opponent's minds. He soon loses his Eye to Yami Bakura. |
| Item: Millenium Ankh Owner: Shadi Ability: The ankh has the ability to look through a person's heart, to see their personalitly, to see what they are feeling. and what they are thinking. It helps Shadi find out if someone had taken an item. It also belonged to the High Summoner in the past 5,000 years ago. |
| Item: Millenium Scale Owner: Shadi Ability: This item is also owned by Shadi. The millenium scale judges people by a simple question. The person would have to answer the question honestly, or be punished by the scale. |
| Item: Millenium Tauk (or necklace) Owner: Isis Ishtar Ability: This item allows the owner to see into the future or even into the past. |
| Item: Millenium Rod Owner: Marick Ishtar Ability: This item also has an evil spirit (were talking pure evil) that cares for no one and just wants to destroy the world. The spirit used the rod to kill Marick's father, since the rod can change into a dagger. It also can posses any one the owner chooses. |
