During the last few months of my mom's pregnancy, I positioned myself to be ready to leave. The doctor always assured my mom that I would not give anybody a hard time during labor and delivery. I was very curious to explore the world, on the outside. However, things changed the last few days. I liked it on the inside. I became comfortable with my own world. Therefore, I changed my position and moved up. I passed delivery day by two days. I loved it there but there was a problem. I ran out of room. I guess I was growing fast. So, I decided to leave my own world. Let me put it this way, I wanted to explore your world. I am sure that as I grow with you all around me, it will become our world. When I got out, I was very alert. I hear my parents saying that I was watching things around me for about 2 hours but eventually I felt to sleep. You know, it was an exhausting journey. It is worth it. It feels good to feel loved and cared for. Thanks momy and thanks dady. Also, I kind of liked my brother Yusuf, thus far. |
