| Our plane to and from Dublin, Ireland; a Continental Airlines Boeing 767-400. TV's in the seatbacks, twelve channels of audio (one of which was 'Live Broadway'), 10 TV channels, and like 18 different movies at the same time. Yeah, I was happy. Oh, and see New York City in the backround behind the plane in the picture on the left? *Sigh* So close, yet so far away. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| Our airplane from Charlotte, NC to Newark, NJ and back! Even though it's small, it was basically all first class for the normal prices so it was cool. Grafton Street in Dublin City. The center of the shopping universe of Ireland. Cool architecture, and one of Ireland's most famous theatres, too. This street was also the origin of Molly Malone, selling "cockles and mussels alive alive'o!" Otherwise, most of Dublin (except for the parks and the canal area near our hotel), was pretty dreary. It was ok, though... My mom standing in front of the sign that says, "The Book of Kells" in the Trinity College Library in Dublin City. If you don't know about the book, click here. |
