DIRECTIONS
The following directions will take you to Linsly-Chittenden Hall, where registration will be from 1:30-3:00 PM on Friday (8:15-9:00 PM for speech-only schools).  LC Hall is located at 63 High Street, one building down from the corner of High and Chapel Streets in New Haven, CT.  If you ever get lost on campus, consult the Yale Campus Map or ask a student for directions.  Parking can be difficult, so leave extra time.

Interstate 95
From North: Turn off highway at I-91 North exit (Hartford, Springfield exit) and continue for a short distance on I-91 to exit 3 (Trumbull Street).  Follow I-91 directions below.
From South: Take exit 49, I-91 North (Hartford, Springfield).  Continue for a short distance on I-91 to exit 3 (Trumbull Street).  Follow I-91 directions below.
   

Interstate 91

From North and South: Take exit 3 (Trumbull Street).  Stay in the middle lane and continue straight through the light onto Trumbull Street.  At the fourth light, turn left onto Prospect Street.  At the first light, Prospect Street becomes College Street.  Continue on College for two blocks and make a right onto Chapel Street.  At the first light, make a right onto High Street.  LC Hall will be the second building on the right, number 63.

Route 15 (Wilbur Cross/Merrit Highways)
From North: Take exit 61.  Drive south on Whitney Avenue for about 5 miles.  Shortly after the intersection with Sachem Street, the road will split.  Stay to the right and you will be on Temple Street.  Make a right onto Chapel Street.  Make another right onto High Street.  LC Hall will be the second buiilding on the right, number 63.
From South: Take exit 57.  Drive east on Route 34 (Derby Avenue) for five miles to the fork of Derby  Avenue and George Street (3 blocks after the athletic fields).  Bear right onto George Street.  Continue to York Street.  Make a left onto York Street and then a right onto Crown Street.  Continue to High Street and make a left.  After one block, you will cross Chapel Street.  LC will the the second building on the right, number 63.

Parking
Metered parking is available on most streets around campus, although it is often full.  City parking lots are located at the corner of Crown and College Streets, on Broadway opposite the bookstore,  and on Temple Street, between Chapel and George Streets.

By Train
There is hourly
Metro-North sevice to New Haven from Grand Central Terminal in New York seven days a week.  Click on the link for schedule information.  Amtrak offers daily service to New Haven from Boston, Philidelphia, New York, and many other cities.  Call (800)USA-RAIL or go to the Amtrak Website for more information.  Taxi Service is available from the train station and costs about $6.  Ask to be dropped off at LC Hall on High Street.

By Plane
Tweed-New Haven Airport is located 4 miles from campus and provides taxi, car rental, and bus services.  It is served by three express airlines: Continental, USAir, and United.  Service is limited.  Yale is also accessable from 4 major national airports.  Bradley International Airport is located in Windsor Locks, CT, just outside Hartford and is the closest to campus at 53 miles.  JFK International Airport (New York - 82 miles to campus), LaGuardia Airport (New York - 70 miles to campus) and Newark International Airport (Newark, NJ - 92 miles to campus) are also viable options.  All four provide many car rental options.  Connecticut Limo offers frequent taxi/limo service to and from all four airports.  Call 800-320-7298 for information. Fitzgerald Airport Express (800-468-7287) and Prime Time Shuttle of CT (800-RED-VANS) also provide service to and from Bradley.
