Now these here is my folks from the ATL. The group called OUTKAST, comprised of none other than the southern pimp Big Boi and Andre 3000. These two brothas right here are one of the best groups to ever bless a mic. Their soulful sound coupled with raw, afrocentric lyrics speak loudly to the ghetto community. Since their first album Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik they have been regarded as some of the best lyricists in the game. Backed by the undeniably funky sounds of their in-house production crew Organized Noise, Outkast established a reputation for having "bust ya sh*t open beats" laced with pimped out rhymes. Southernplayalistic was celebrated by many critics and to some is considered a classic. When the time came for Outkast to drop their second LP ATLiens, many thought that they would stick to their roots and produce another album with the same vibe as their highly successful debut. But az Big Boi stated on the intro to "Skew it on the Bar-B", a song from their 5 mic classic album Aquemini, "You gotta keep it new innovative and creative..." And that was the first step Outkast took to really separate themselves from the rest of the game and truly become OUTKASTS.
this Dirty South duo will be ruling the industry for years to come....Go cop their new album Stankonia, the shit is bananas..."BREAK"
