My Star
By Erin Ruiz
(Comments below song/poem-thingy)
Has a shooting star ever made you cry?
If so, then why do I feel this way
Alone, right here, I don't know what to do
About these feelings I have for you
I'm lost in a sea of dreamers and don't know how to cry
But you wait patiently for the day when you know that I can try
I wish upon that shooting star
To know how far you really are
No one said I'd be alone
But I'll wait here until you come My star . . .
Have you ever gazed at the falling stardust?
Have you ever wished that this world would be just?
Though stars and dreams are never a garentee
I'll keep on praying 'til the day I'm free
As I find an end to this winding road as my chosen way
I hope these wishes and prayers will be answered some day
I wish upon that floating dream
To know if this is how it seems
Though this heart has been so true
I'll still keep wishing to the sky so blue My star . . .
Death will never take a heart as pure as the one I hold
So why must all the angels say that my heart is so icy cold?
I wish upon the prayers I share
To find someone that will care
Soon my heart will loose it's power
And I hope you'll find me in that dark hour My star . . .
Do NOT ask. It's 8:30pm and I have a stomach ache. I have no
idea where it came from. It was spontaneous, I guess. Oh well,
I like it, so the temporary insanity was actually good. Whatever.
Um, I think it has something to do with my J124 fettish. J stands
for "J" (Not Luna Sea "J"). 1 is "Heero Yuy." 2 is "Duo Maxwell." 4 is "Quatre
Raberba Winner." Yare, yare . . . Anywho, 'tis something I made up
on my own and, yes, it is a song. Although, songs can be inter-
pretted into poetry, though it's not recommended. Ja ne!
