I know, the title for this chapter is really bad, but I couldn't think of anything else. Anyway, I don't own Yugioh, or anybody else besides Liz. After I posted Falling Into the World of Yugioh, I found out that they never showed the first season of Yugioh, so if you've read it, 1st season is supposed to be 2nd season and same for the 2nd season. If you're also wondering why my chapters are shorter now is because I just thought of a few OK names for sections in my story. That was kinda random, but anyway, here's chapter 2.

Chapter 2

Kicked Out (In a Nice Way)

“Marguerite, you lost and sadly,” Caro informed Marguerite.

“Ne, I knew I’d lose anyway,” Marguerite answered casually, “Besides, I was dueling Yami! It was fun though.”

“But still, I mean 0 to 4000, that’s still sad,” I pointed out the obvious scores, “And he originally-”

“Shut up!” Marguerite yelled at me, “If he hadn’t kept on playing that damn, fucking Dian Keto and Magician of faith, I would’ve won!”

“Catherine, you only took out 1000 life points total!” I yelled back at her, “And don’t swear!”

“Shut up, bitch!”

“That wasn’t nice!” I screamed at Marguerite.

“Get used to it!”

I rolled my eyes and yelled, “I already am!” my voice dropped down to normal, “I’ve been living with you and Bakura and Caro for the past few weeks!”

“Are they always like this?” Mr. Bakura slammed on the brakes in front of the traffic lights.

“Uh huh,” Ryou answered quietly while Yami nodded his head behind Marguerite.

FLASHBACK

“How’re we all gonna fit in the car?” I asked as Ryou got in the passenger seat.

Yami started to get in the back, “Why don’t you sit on someone?”

I’m light for my age so I’m always the one to sit on someone else. “Why don’t you?” I snapped back at him, “Besides you’re the lightest, no matter how old you are.”

“I’m…I’m…I’m,” Yami stuttered, “That’s not fair!”

“Hemsut, I’m going to kill you!” Marguerite made an attempt to lunge at me, but Caro held her back.

“Marguerite, calm down!” Caro said calmly while holding Marguerite’s hands. “You know that you’d never kill her anyway.”

“Yes I would!”

Rolling my eyes, I muttered, but I have a loud voice…sometimes, “If you shut up, we might let you sit on Yami’s lap.”

“Shutting up,” Marguerite declared.

END FLASHBACK

************

“Hemsut?”

I snapped back to reality, “What?”

Yami repeated what he had said, “Don’t you agree with me?”

“Huh?” I poked Caro who had fallen asleep. Marguerite was just sitting there daydreaming.

Caro woke up and explained, “Yami just gave us the lecture about the heart of the cards. Again.”

I rolled my eyes. I could almost hear Marguerite’s voice saying, “His voice!” dreamily. Why? Why did they have to fall in love with Ryou, Bakura, and Yami? Oh well, that’s life. Glad I’m not totally in love with anyone.

Ryou twisted around to face us as he pointed out, “You know, come to think of it, you guys need families. My dad can’t take care of four people forever.”

“What?” I asked realizing it too, “You mean we might be sent to an orphanage?!”

“It’s possible,” Mr. Bakura answered quietly form the front, “Unless you three can be adopted or get taken in by a foster family within a week, you’ll have to go live in the orphanage.”

The rest of the trip to Game Corner was silent as well as the trip from there back home.

************

“What d’ya wanna do?” I asked, “Ryou’s gone to school, we don’t work on Saturdays, everyone else is at school, and Mr. Bakura’s worn out from his trip.”

Caro and Marguerite shrugged. “I still think we should’ve gone to school,” Caro said simply.

“That’s only because Ryou’s gonna be there,” Marguerite muttered.

“Yeah,” Caro agreed.

I got up from my favorite seat in the living room and got my coat, “I’m going to the museum.”

“Why?” Marguerite asked getting up as well.

Caro followed us to the door. “She probably wants to meet Isis,”

Sometimes I wonder how she got to know me so well. Anyway, she does come to my house every day after school and I have known her for half my life.

“Mmm, that’s true,” Marguerite agreed, “Isis is her favorite, right?”

I opened the door, “Yeah, it’s also a way to figure out who you guys wanna be adopted by. Stories and books don’t really make an orphanage sound inviting.”

“Besides, Seto might be there,” I remembered, “It’d be nice if you guys would apologize for last week.”

“Uh, yeah,” Caro answered, “I didn’t mean to, I was just hyper and he insulted you.”

“Eh, true,” I agreed, “Personally, I think that just hitting him once would’ve been enough. You didn’t have to him with a metal pole, Catherine.”

************

“Isis!” I walked up to her, “Hi, um…” my shy side kinda took over.

“Can you send Marik and his yami, Malik, our gratitude?” Saved by Marguerite.

“Yeah,” Caro joined in, “He killed a certain person and we’d like to thank him for killing her.”

“Um, okay,” Isis hesitated, “Marik’s going to be happy. Nobody has ever thanked him for killing someone. I’ll tell him. You were late. I was expecting you yesterday.”

“Oh yeah, she has the millennium necklace! Duh,” I thought and called myself stupid.

“You’ll find Seto Kaiba with Mokuba in the ancient Egyptian exhibit,” Isis pointed down the hall, “Second right, and don’t expect him to say yes.” I don’t know why Seto and Mokuba skipped school.

“Don’t worry, we don’t,” I said quietly.

************

“You expect me to adopt you?!” Seto asked angrily after hearing Car and Marguerite’s request. “After what you did to me last week?”

Caro would’ve rolled her eyes but she knew it’d be harder to persuade him to adopt her, “No, I already said I’m sorry. Gomen, you called Lizzie a shortie. If someone said that to Mokuba wouldn’t you beat them up?”

“Well, she is short,” was his reply.

“I’m not that short!” I muttered, “You’re just really tall. Hey Mokuba.”

“Who’re you?” Mokuba looked up from the glass case.

“Mokuba! Hi,” Caro shifted her attention.

“Who are you?” he asked again, “Do I know you?”

“No,” Caro replied cheerfully.

“Uh, how d’you know me?” Mokuba was almost as confused as Ryou had been when we had first met him.

I turned to Caro and Marguerite, “You guys explain it to Mokuba, and I’ll talk to Seto.”

“Sure.”

Okay, this part is boring. All I did was ask Seto about the orphanage.

************

“Are you sure that it’s okay for you to stay here?” Isis asked as I followed her around the museum.

“Yeah, I don’t really have a family here, so I really don’t need permission to wander around.” You can tell I was depressed.

Isis turned around to face me and said quietly, “I know. Your friends want to be adopted by Seto Kaiba and you’re afraid of being sent to the orphanage.” Her voice dropped to a whisper, “I’ll see what I can do to make sure your life is not in danger once you join our family.”

************

“Whoa!” I had opened the door to see Tea, Yugi, Marguerite, Caro, and Bakura all at home. “How come everyone’s here?”

Yugi looked up, all bruised, “Long story.”

“Wrong thing to say,” I told him frowning and looking around. Everyone looked pissed, except for Yugi; he was eyeing Marguerite in a scared way. “I like long stories.”

Okay, remember, I wasn’t there so I might get some things wrong. Anyway, after they left me at the museum, Caro and Marguerite went to pick Ryou and Yugi up from school.

Naturally, Marguerite wanted to be around Yami so she grabbed Yugi and tried to get Yami to come out. Caro tried to stop her and soon, Tea joined in. Marguerite lost her temper since Tea and Caro were on the same side. That’s it. Well, Yugi told me a longer version, but that’s not the point.

“So, what did you do?” Caro asked me.

“Nothing,” I answered, “Isis just said that she’d talk thing over with Marik and if he promises not to kill me, she might consider adopting me.”

Caro gave me a “are you sure about this” look as she pointed out, “So you don’t mind having a psycho maniac for a brother?”

“Good point,” I agreed, “I am scared of Marik, but I’ve always wondered what it’d be like being the younger sibling for once and what it’s like having a brother. I’ll live…hopefully. If Marik does decide to kill me, Isis said that for my safety, she wouldn’t adopt me.”

“Isis is fine, but I’m more worried about the rest of the Ishtars,” Marguerite said eyeing the millennium puzzle, “I mean, Marik’s a crazy, psycho maniac, we know nothing about Rishid, and Yami Malik is just…wrong.”

From now on, I’m gonna call Yami Malik, Malik okay?

“Come to think of it,” I remembered, “All we really know about Rishid is that he was adopted by the Ishtars as an heir until Marik was born. We gotta do some more research.”

Unfortunatly, Catherine does sometimes call me a bitch. Now she's mad at me for not having her go out with Yami, but first we need to get some homes here! Anyway, I'm gonna have to put more romance in......eventually. I'm tired. (Kinda random, but I like to talk about random things) Chapter 3's already done, I just need to copy it onto my computer. See ya then!
