There are hot and heavy situations but it falls short of hard core, no cuss words per'sey but is still mildly explicit. However it is not for little kids, so not to warp anyones fragile little mind. After more years than I care to count, I still have my silly little habit of mindlessly watching Saturday morning cartoon shows other than news talk shows that bore the life right out of you anyway. This script form is merely something I whipped out after watching the cartoon show YU-GI-OH from watching all the shows so far and from the very first episode mind you. There is the not so subtle or ambiguous love/hate subtext between the characters Joey Wheeler and Mai Valentine which makes the show worth watching more than anything else even the duels, unless it's the duel they had after they first met on the boat. Well duh, at first he's all agog with her until she wants to duel him and she's always picking on him. Especially when he wants something to eat or is eating, she wants him to learn manners and be a gentleman. She doesn't really pick on anyone else even though she might insult others from time to time and if you'll notice Tristian's manners are not that good either. Mai shares more physical contact with Joey that with any of the other characters in one way or another and she shows affection for him in other ways. Proof she cares: When Bandit Keith steals Joey's card on Mr.Pegasus' island and he believes he's lost it, he is so upset he falls to his knees crying. Mai's finds out about Joey's sister, she's very sweet to him and even gives him her card.

Not only had Joey been lost from his friends for days but he was in a strange land and didn't have a clue as to the langage the people here spoke. The only thing he could do was duel for food and a place to stay until he could unite with his friends, he sat on curb watching the locals go about their dayly lives when he heard a harsh yet feminine shrill that sounded all too familiar to him. He looked down the street and there she was, with a temper as baneful as she was beautiful. Not a sweet sort of a beauty but the beauty of a passionate siren who lures most men to their doom. He didn't know what Mai Valentine was ranting about this time but he thought she might be looking for him along with his friends, so he walked towards her as her temper grew worse yelling at a little old man selling apples. As Joey walked up behind her she didn't notice his presence or the fact that he started mocking her movements of rage.

MAI: Can't anyone in this town understand anything I'm saying?! (Huffs and stomps her foot) Anyone at all?!

JOEY: You're in luck, Joey Wheeler to the rescue. (Mai in shock turns to face him) I can see for once in your life you're speechless. (Laughs) Who would have guessed that would ever happen?

MAI: Joey, what are you doing here?

JOEY: What do you mean, aren't you looking for me with my friends? (Mai laughs) What?

MAI: You're lost? (Joey nods and she laughs) I don't know what's funnier, the fact that you're lost or that you think I'd waste my valuable time looking for you. (Sighs) Look, if you can't find your way back home then maybe you should just stay there.

JOEY: There you go again, you have to drive me crazy all the time. (Points in Mai's face) What's that all about anyways?

MAI: Face it, even you're not dumb enough not to understand what your real problem is with me but I can't blame you.

JOEY: What are you talking about? (Crosses his arms) I know what my real problem is with you, it's your big mouth.

MAI: Ha, like you're one to talk? (Scoffs) I know I'd like to see you keep your cake hole closed for five minutes.

JOEY: What do you want a contest to see who can keep their lips closed the longest because I'd win that in a second.

MAI: Oh Joey, please? (Giggles) You're just making a fool of yourself, as usual. (Bats her eyes) I arouse you but you can't have me and it's been getting to you ever since that boat ride when you first laid eyes on me. (Mocks Joey) "Please, crush me?" (He gasps) Well you're quite the silver tongue devil, aren't you?

JOEY: You are so full of yourself, Mai. (Gulps) That's not how I remember it and I'm sure Yu-Gi would agree with me.

Mai rolls her eyes at Joey, she then poses in a very sexy manner which makes him weak in the knees and grows wide eyed.

MAI: Hmph, I rest my case. (Smirks) Come on, I'll help you out but only because I know you'd die if I leave you here alone.

JOEY: Ah, so you do care about me? (Mai grabs his arm and drags him along) You do, don't you.

MAI: Only like I would a stray puppy. (Sighs) Don't be getting idea's in that thick head of yours it's more than just a gesture of pity, one that you'll owe me for. (Laughs) Not that my opinion of you hasn't changed one iota since I first met you.

Joey frowns then Mai takes him into a nice looking hotel, once up the stairs she pats herself to find the key and then she opens the door. The room is romanic in tone with a big brass bed, a cozy fireplace, a love seat and honner bar. Double doors next to it that lead to the large bathroom, this place was made for a honeymoon couple no doubt.

JOEY: Wow, this is my kind of place. (Lands on the bed like a sack of potatos) Aw, this is nice. (Smiles) I haven't slept in a bed this nice in a long time. (Mai knocks him off the bed into the floor) Hey, what gives?! (Stands up) What's your problem?

MAI: This is my bed, you'll sleep on the floor at my feet like a good puppy. (Smug) But first I'm going to have to clean you up, you smell like you've been doing brut work all day in the hot sun. (Points to the bathroom) Go take a bath.

JOEY: Fine but my clothes are still going to smell and I have nothing else to wear that smells any better than what I have on.

MAI: I'll have the maid service clean your clothes, in the mean time I'll go buy you a pair of pajamas but you'll own me for that too. (Joey groans) And your part of the meal I'm coming back with. (Walking to the door) Bye, bye.

Mai leaves as Joey walks to the bathroom, there's a large glass with brass shower and a huge spa bath tub made for two.

JOEY: Hum, hot shower or relaxing tub? (Looking at the shower, then in the tub) Water jets in the tub, we have a winner.

Joey starts taking his clothes off and tossing them around the floor as he does so. Meanwhile Mai is at a mens shop looking at pajamas, most of them are plaid or striped and she moves them aside. She ends up with only a few plain colored ones.

MAI: Let's see gray, green, brown or black? (Ponders) Knowing the way Joey is, I better get the black ones. (Sighs) Now to find his size. (Holding the first pair up they are way too tiny) No he's bigger than that.

Mai looks through the black ones until she sees a pair that seem his size. Back in the bathroom Joey has the jets going as he pours in bubble bath, then he gets in and only the top of his dark blonde hair is showing from the mass of bubbles around him. Mai walks out of a restaurant with a bag of to go boxes and two shopping bags in tow. She walks across the street and down the block to the hotel, when she enters the room she sits the food down on the horror bar.

JOEY: I smell fish! (Louder) Mai, is that you?

Mai walks into the bathroom with the pajamas in her hand, at first she notices the mess Joey has made with his clothes and all the suds in the tub. He hums so she knows he's somewhere in the bathroom but she can't tell where.

MAI: Joseph? (Joey raises up slightly with a bath brush) You? (Flabbergasted) You're taking a bubble bath?

JOEY: Yeah. (Snickers) What did you come in here for, maybe to scrub my back for me?

MAI: Hardly. (Exasperated) Here are your pajamas and when you're done in here we can eat.

Mai puts the pajamas on top of the toilet seat and exits the bathroom.

JOEY: Eh, she wants me. (Slashing down in the tub) Who can blame her?

Mai sits on the bed to take off her boots, then she lays back. She hears the tub drain, a few bumps and other sounds from Joey in the bathroom. He finally emerges from the bathroom in his new black pajamas looking quite nice in them, she stands up and checks him out. She walks around him looking at him as more of a possession than a human being. She was thinking about how rude and crude he could be, yet when his mouth was closed he was very nice looking. After all he was only a bit younger than her but it's not like he was a little kid, even if he sometimes acted like it. Her hand raised to brush the stay strands of his dark blonde hair out of his eyes. He lifted a quizzical eyebrow at her as his big brown eyes narrowed waiting for her insults. She touched her fingers to her lips he knew she was think something but what?

MAI: Hum, maybe I should dress you more often. (Snapping her fingers) My good taste really works for you.

JOEY: Perfect fit, what are these silk? (Mai nods) Hum, well nevermind that, where's the food? (She grabs the food bag) I'm more worried about what taste good than good taste. (Rubs his hands together) Now you're talking, chow time!

Mai places the bag on the coffee table and sits on the love seat, she takes out the to go boxes.

MAI: Come sit down. (Sitting the coffee table as she would a kitchen table) Do you want the fish or the chicken?

JOEY: I'll take either one. (Sits next to Mai) I'm ready! (Reaches for a slice of bread but she slaps his hand) Hey?!

MAI: Down boy. (Wags her finger) If you want to eat with me, then I'm going to teach you some manners. (Points to the silverware and explaining as a teacher might) This is a fork, next to it is a spoon and then a knife.

JOEY: I don't believe this. (Groans) Why are you torchering me with this stuff?

MAI: Maybe I want to see if I can trun a caveman into a gentleman. (Smirks) It would be my biggest challenge ever but I could try. (Smug) It would be nice if I could fit you with good manners, like I did the good fit of your new pajamas.

Nagging on Mai's voice just becomes background noise to Joey, he wants to eat so he clears his throat to stop her.

JOEY: When can we eat? (Mai hands him a fork) Alright!

MAI: Now I want to see you eat like a human, not something four legged from a farm.

JOEY: You know you could be less prissy, it wouldn't hurt you to be a little dirty yourself.

Joey thinks about what he just said and he blushes, he didn't really mean it that way. It was however a Freudian slip and he had thoughts of Mai in dirty ways more than once. It didn't help when she dropped the pile of napkins in the floor and bent over to pick them up. He muttered something under his breath as her skirt rode up her thighs. Though her panties weren't exposed, a tiny bit of her derriere was. A deep gulp from his throat rang out, her head turned and looked up at him. She realized he was looking right at her back-side, she rose and sat back down.

MAI: Fine, eat like a human and I'll give you a little kiss. (Laughs) I don't have to worry because you're too much of a slob.

Joey mumbles something under his breath as he eats slowly and in small bites, all under the watchful eye of Mai.

JOEY: I love fish. (Eatting a little faster) Whatever this white stuff is, it's good too.

MAI: Don't talk with your mouth full of food. (Takes a missed swipe at Joey) You're doing better than you usually do.

Joey soon eats all his food as Mai takes the last few bites of hers.

JOEY: Well? (Mai looks at him) I won the bet, so where is the kiss you promised me? (Puckers his lips but Mai kisses him on his cheek) Hey you call that a kiss? (Points to his lips) How about a real kiss?

MAI: I don't think you could handle a real kiss, especially from me. (Stands up) Now if you'll excuse me, I do feel a bit dirty, so I'm going freshen up. (Walks to the bathroom doors) But first come get your clothes and leave them outside for the maid.

JOEY: Yeah, yeah. (Standing up) Anything else queen Mai? (Picks up his clothes) I mean really?

MAI: As a matter of fact yes. (Smug) But we'll talk about that later. (Starts the water) Aw, just what I need.

Joey piles up his clothes outside the door as Mai grabs her bag and locks herself inside the bathroom. He mumbles something under his breath again, until he walks past the standing mirror and sees himself.

JOEY: How could any female resist this? (Poses) Joey Wheeler has it going on.

Joey stops looking at himself when he hears Mai singing from the tub in the bathroom. He walks over to the food boxes by putting everything in the bag and sitting it outside next to his clothes. He then washes his hands in the horror bar sink, as he dries his hands he leans on the wall for a while. Then he hears her getting out of the tub, then her moving around. He takes a quick smell of his underarms, just before he hears her open the doors and step out. She's wearing a short red satin robe, he's agog, as she walks to the bed and sits down.

MAI: Put your tongue back in your mouth. (Crosses her legs seductively) Before you get your drool on the rug.

JOEY: Uh, huh. (Snapping back to normal) You like nice that's all. (Smiles) So what do you want to do?

MAI: Do you have your Duel Monsters deck with you? (Joey nods) Well then, hand it over.

JOEY: Wait a minute, is this why you've been some what nice to me? (Mad) You just want to take my deck away from me?

MAI: I thought you'd be grateful enough to lend it to me tomorrow morning, you'll have it back by the afternoon.

JOEY: Oh I see. (Crosses his arms) So you thought Joey Wheeler would be a soft touch, huh? (Mai nods) Well why do you want me to loan you out my deck when you have such a great deck yourself?

MAI: Mine are great but yours is a little better or I would have beat you in that first battle with you, remember?

JOEY: Yeah, I creamed you. (Snickers until Mai pouts) But you've gotten a lot better since then.

MAI: I know, that duel really opened my eyes but you still can't blame a girl for trying. (Leans back sexily) So would you please let me borrow your deck, Joseph? (Bats her eyes at Joey) Please? (Sits up) Okay, you can hold on to mine.

JOEY: Eh, I'm a sucker for a pretty face. (Goes for his deck) Let me see your deck.

Mai takes her deck out from under her pillow and hands it to Joey, he sits next to her.

MAI: So we have a deal then? (Joey looks at both decks for a beat) What do you think you are doing?

JOEY: Shh, just watch. (Shuffles the two decks together into one) Here you go, Mai. (Sighs) I trust you.

MAI: I don't know what to say. (So excited she hugs Joey for a moment) That's so sweet of you, thank you.

JOEY: I know but if it wasn't for you I couldn't have beaten that slime, Bandit Keith when he took my card and cheated.

MAI: Yes, I know. (Sighs) We're friends and that's what friends do, they help one another out.

JOEY: Okay, friend. (Pauses) I'm not sleepy but if you are I can play solitaire.

MAI: Duel Monsters solitaire? (Giggles) This I have to see.

JOEY: No, that would be too strange. (Laughs) I have some plain playing cards I keep around, I don't use them much.

MAI: Well I can see why you don't. (Scoffs) They so pail next to Duel Monsters. (Pauses) But I'm not sleepy either.

JOEY: Oh? (Slowly) So what do you want to do the rest of the night then?

MAI: We could just stay up and talk like we've been doing or maybe... (Stops herself) Nevermind, let's just forget it.

JOEY: Are you kidding? (Scoffs) Trying to forget anything as intriguing as this would be a total impossibility.

MAI: Alright fine, I'll ask you but only if you promise not to laugh at me. (Sighs) Okay?

JOEY: I can't promise anything like that, what if it's really silly and I can't help but laugh at it. (Shrugs) Then through pure futility, I would of broken my promise to you. (Mai playfully knocks him on the head) Aw, come on just ask me already.

MAI: Alright, you big lug. (Pauses) Do you want to play dress up?

JOEY: Dress up? (Confused) Are you kidding me or what?

MAI: Some girls have one when they have a sleep over, like we're having now. (Joey's a bit steamed) We each pick an outfit for the other to wear, then do our hair and make up. (Giggles) I think you'd look cute with a big pink bow in your hair.

JOEY: No way! (Frowning) I'm all man, honey. (Scoffs) I'm a hero and don't you ever forget that.

MAI: Well at least you didn't laugh. (Sighs) So I guess we'll just go to bed then, find a place to sleep.

JOEY: Fine. (Stands up) I'm not sleepy so I might just have to find something else to do.

Joey takes a pillow and walks to the love seat, he lays down. Mai stands up, she pulls back the covers and fluffs her pillow.

MAI: That makes two of us but I'm going to try to sleep anyway. (Smiles) Good night Joseph, pleasant dreams.

Joey grunts but then Mai takes off her robe, she has on a skimpy red teddy and he's so mesmerized his jaw drops.

JOEY: Wow, pleasant dreams indeed! (Excited whistle) You look so... (Embarrassed) Did you wear that just for me?

MAI: No, I sleep in nice things when I stay where there's a nice bed. (Turns off the light) But thanks for the compliments.

Mai gets under the covers and Joey calms down a bit but he's still has a big grin on his face. She truns over with her eyes wide open and for a little while the room is full of silence but he breakes it with a bored groan.

JOEY: Mai? (Pauses) Oh Mai? (Mai sits up and looks at him) Did I wake you?

MAI: No, you didn't. (Clears her throat) Are you comfy?

JOEY: Not really. (Sits up) I'm too big to fit on this small sofa.

MAI: It's a love seat, this is a honeymoon suite. (Ironic laugh) It was the only room left after all.

JOEY: No wonder you find it so hard to just go to sleep. (Smug) Here you are in a romanic room with a great looking guy.

MAI: You never give up do you? (Smirks) If that was ture and I'm not saying that it is. (Pauses) But if it was, what would your excuse for not sleeping then? (Poses sexily) I'm sure you've been thinking of me naked all night, am I right?

Joey is not willing to let Mai get the better of him, so he fights back the urge to admit she's right.

JOEY: Um? (Thinking of something suddenly) Hey you're the one that walked in on me when I was naked in the tub. (Mai gasps) I know you only pick on me just so others won't know how transparent your feelings are for me.

MAI: Ha! (Sarcastically) Oh Joey baby yes, take me right now. (Dryly) I need you, I want you, make me scream your name.

JOEY: Sure. (Mai turns on the light) You'd be too trilled to be able to scream my name. (Winks at Mai) You know it's ture.

Joey laughs but Mai has had enough, she grabs a pillow from the bed and tosses it at his head then it lands on the floor.

MAI: How dare you laugh at me!

JOEY: Ooo! (Smirks) Truth hurts. (Gets up and grabs the pillow from the floor) Which results in an extremely unfortunate maneuver from you and a response from me. (Walks towards Mai with the pillow) Now you'll have to be punished.

MAI: You wouldn't dare! (Joey smacks her with the pillow) You crumb bum, you'll pay for that!

Mai grabs another pillow from her bed, she stands up and hits Joey with it. They end up in a huge pillow fight, then he lands on the bed. At that moment they just look at each other breathing really hard but then she jumps him with the pillow.

JOEY: Ow! (Yells as Mai smacks him with the pillow again and again) Hey get off of me, you blonde harpie!

MAI: I doubt you mind but if you do, what are you going to do about it? (Joey grabs her around her shoulders) Jerk!

Joey and Mai end up rolling around, hollering in the bed trying to best one another in the pillow fight. She falls backwards with one pillow blow from him before she can get hers in, he knows he has her right where he wants.

JOEY: Got you! (Holding Mai's arms down) Looks like I win this duel too. (Snickers) So how about that kiss now?

MAI: Let go of me, dork! (Huffs) I'm way out of your league.

JOEY: That maybe true but you still have a thing for me. (Mai rolls her eyes at him) No, huh?

MAI: No way. (Scoffs) So will you please let me up now?

Joey raises up and looks down at Mai, he then leans in like he's going to kiss her and she puckers up too. He touches her nose with his and then just backs off, he sits on the edge of the bed laughing about their almost kiss.

JOEY: Now who is puppy begging for a bone? (Mocks Mai) "Hmph, I rest my case."

Mai knocks Joey off the bed and into the floor, she hides under the covers on the bed. Joey gets up and sits at the foot of the bed, then he falls over asleep.

MAI: Get out of my bed! (Leans over Joey but he's out cold) Joseph Wheeler do you hear me? (Touches his face) Joey? (Realizing he's asleep) Oh that's just great. (Sighs) What else could happen to me?

JOEY: Mmm! (In his sleep) A whole pizza just for me?

MAI: I had to ask.

Night turns into day and as the sunlight fills Mai's room she's laying asleep with her head in Joey's lap, he wakes up.

JOEY: Huh? (Looking down at Mai's head) Mai? (Shakes her awake) Hey, sleepy head.

MAI: Is it morning already? (Groggily) I don't want to get up.

JOEY: Well I can't really move while you're on my lap, not that I mind. (Smiles) Are you comfy?

Mai sits up and stretches much to the delight of Joey. She gets up, goes to the door and finds his clean laundry. She picks it up, tosses in her bag and then points at him and his mood soon dims as she starts to order him around.

MAI: I'm going to get ready to go now but you better not try to follow me. (Yawns) Just to make sure of that I'm taking all your clothes with me, you can get dressed when I return. (Wags her finger at Joey) Do I make myself clear?

JOEY: Hey, no fair! (Huffs) I can't just sit here in my P.J.'s until you get back.

MAI: You can and you will. (Walks to the bathroom with her bag in tow) If you're hungry, help yourself to the honnor bar.

With that Mai shuts the bathroom doors but Joey has had enough of her attitude, he gets up and sneaks over to the bathroom doors. He hears her turn on the shower, then the steam comes from the crack in the two doors and he's not sure if the door is locked or not. He reaches slowly for the handle and it opens, he cautiously steps inside. He thinks to himself not to look at her in the shower and just get his clothes but his eyes follow the clouds of steam that fills the bathroom. Through it to the glass of the shower, he can only make out the outline of her naked body but he is totally transfixed and most definitely attracted to what he can see of her. He snaps out of it when he hears her turn off the water, he runs out just before her head pops out.

JOEY: Uh, oh! (To himself) She's going to come out here and she's going to kill me!

Mai walks out of the bathroom in a little pink towel, drying her head with another towel he freaks out. His vulnerability drastically shows, as every move she makes seems to be for a calculated effect.

MAI: Are you waiting to get in here? (Joey shrugs) Well I can get dressed out here.

JOEY: Do you need any help? (Mai rollers her eyes) No, I guess you don't. (Pauses) I'll just wait until you're finished.

Mai finishes drying her hair and wraps the towel like a turban on her head, Joey seizes this opportunity to wolf whistle at her as she goes back in the bathroom. After a few minutes she walks out dressed and with her bag in tow again. She sits on the bed to put on her boots, then frantically rummaging through her bag. She pulls out a pair of her panties and the matching bra, his eyes are focused on each item until she puts them back in. She turns to see him still just standing there with a smile.

MAI: I thought you needed the bathroom, Joey? (Joey shrugs) Well then come over here I want to show you something.

Joey walks over and sits next to Mai, she hands him a bunch of sample bottles of perfume.

JOEY: Mai, you're not up to your old tricks again are you?

MAI: I'm going to wear one of them, which one do you think smells the most feminine?

Joey goes about smelling the perfume in the small bottles, he picks out the last one and holds it up.

JOEY: This one called... (Flabbergasted as he read the name off the bottle) "Passionate Desires." (To himself) How ironic!

MAI: Wow, you do have a gifted nose! (Takes the bottle away from Joey) It's hard to get "Passionate Desires." (Putting on a dab of the perfume) I was lucky to get it, I had to fight off five other women for it but I got my "Passionate Desires."

JOEY: The way you put that sounds like you want some guy. (Laughs) A guy you had to fight other women for. (Smug) You know like you'd have to do for me. (This statement makes Mai laugh) Hey, you would you know?

MAI: Yeah, right? (Scoffs) You're a big dumb slob with no manners, the other women can have you.

JOEY: Like you're such a great catch? (Smug) Maybe for a big mouth bass but there are plenty of other type fish in the sea.

MAI: But you don't have any bait. (Knocks on Joey's head) You're more like a starfish, a hard shell and no brain.

JOEY: Eh, I'm smart enouth to know all about you. (Smirks) I bet when other woman start hanging around me and they will. (Points) You'll be so jealous you'll get into a huge cat fight with all of them. (Smiles) So you can have me all to yourself.

MAI: Oh you are dreaming! (Laughs) You're the one having trouble because of your passionate desires for me.

JOEY: You're not fooling anyone but yourself, Mai. (Scoffs) After all men like me don't grow on trees you know?

MAI: No, they swing from them. (Giggles) Now why don't you be a good boy and just drop it?

Joey mumbles to himself watching Mai put on her make up, he picks up her compact and reads the color.

JOEY: Almost nude? (Snickers) What is with all these products you have with all the innuendo in the names?

MAI: They are made for girls but if they were for you. (Smug) They'd have names like puppy or pig or monkey.

Joey frowns as Mai laughs but she laughs more when he gets to his feet performing and looking quite like a blonde monkey.

JOEY: Me monkey-man. (Makes monkey sounds) Beautiful girl but she have big mouth. (Jumps on the bed) Aoooooo!

MAI: Cut it out, Joey. (Growls) A joke is a joke but you're taking it too far now.

JOEY: Don’t speak. (Gets behind Mai) Monkey-man furious kiss you. (Makes kissing sounds) Kiss, kiss?

MAI: Ew, disgusting. (Stands up) Be a good monkey while I'm gone. (Blows Joey a kiss) Bye-bye.

Mai exits and Joey gets up, he goes to the honnor bar. Juxtapose - He's eating the last bit of food from the honnor bar and he drops the wrapper in a small pile in the floor. He walks to the bathroom, he finds Mai's skimpy red teddy draped on the shower door towel rod and he fondles it before picking it up.

JOEY: Eh, I bet she left this here on purpose. (Frustrated) And I bet I know why too.

Juxtapose - By the time Mai returns Joey and is sprawled out on her bed asleep with her teddy clutched in his hand. She shakes him awake, then tugs her teddy away from his hand and tosses it aside.

MAI: Mr. Wheeler, you get your bony behind out of my bed right now! (Huffs) And you better clean up your mess!

JOEY: I'm not moving until you give me back my Duel Monsters deck. (Mai sits next to him on the bed) You okay?

Mai nods as she hands the deck to Joey, then their hands touch with only the deck of cards between them.

MAI: Here. (Caressing up Joey's arm) And Joey, thank you for the loan.

Joey takes his deck back then Mai gets into her bag and hands him his clothes, he goes into the bathroom to change. He comes out after awhile with the black silk pajamas in tow, he sits back down next to Mai and tosses the pajamas down.

JOEY: Man, my clothes smell so nice. (Taps his feet) They even cleaned my shoes.

MAI: I know, when you took your shoes off. (Blinks) I thought that smell was going to knock me out.

JOEY: You want a piece of me, Mai? (Growls) I know I shouldn't hit a girl but you're pushing it.

MAI: I doubt you want hit me, Joseph. (Crosses her legs) Unless it's with your lips.

JOEY: Well you're right about one thing, I don't really want to hit you. (Pauses) But I do want to put a gag in your mouth.

MAI: Uh, huh. (Slides her leg along Joey's leg) You mean you really want to put your tongue in my mouth.

Joey and Mai lean closer to one another like there is going to be a moment of embrace between them but if there was, it is broken by a knock at the door. Some guy yells in anger from the hall for her to come out and talk to him.

JOEY: Who is that? (Mai looks down) Mai?

MAI: A sore loser I had a duel with and he's mad I beat him. (The guy bangs on the door again) He wants a rematch.

JOEY: Why that big blow hard, I'll take care of him. (Stands up) You wait here, I don't want you getting hurt.

MAI: Believe me, I can take care of myself. (Joey stills her before he walks out) Oh Joey?

Mai sits as the sound of a fight goes on in the hall way, suddenly there's a tumble and a loud thud sound and then no sound at all. She gets up and goes to the door where she finds Joey getting up off the floor by the stairs, she runs to his side.

JOEY: I'm fine. (Groans) Which is more than I can say for that guy, he rushed me but I ducked and he fell down the steps. (Points to the guy getting up at the bottom of the steps) Hey you better get out of here if you know what's good for you!

MAI: That's right! (The guy starts running away, she calls after him) Run away before you trip over my boyfriend again!

Mai keeps yelling after the guy running off as Joey stands with a look on his face of disbelief, he interrupts her.

JOEY: Excuse me Mai? (Points at Mai) I don't mean to interrupt you but are you aware of what you just said?

MAI: Pretty much, since I said it. (Scoffs) Why do you ask?

JOEY: Oh? (Astonished) So did you mean what you said about me or did you just say that to scare that joker off?

MAI: Huh? (Confused) What are you ranting about, Joseph?

JOEY: To quote you, " Run away before you trip over my boyfriend again."

MAI: I did not say that! (Huffs) You're delusional. (Walking back to the room) I said friend.

JOEY: No, you said boyfriend. (Walks up behind Mai) As in more than just a friend.

Mai and Joey walk back into the room, she sits on the bed without a word until he sits next to her.

MAI: What do you think you're doing? (Joey goes to kiss her but she moves away) Don't even think about it.

JOEY: Aw, come on? (Scoffs) Before that guy showed up, we were about to kiss, perhaps even more than that.

MAI: That's ridiculous. (Faux laughter) I don't think so. (Winces) I was going to give you a small hug, that's all.

JOEY: I don't think I will kiss you after all. (Smug) You're the one who has fantasized about me being your boyfriend.

Joey starts laughing and Mai gets enraged, she stands over him pointing her finger at him.

MAI: If you think for one moment I want you as my boyfriend then you need your head checked, Joey Wheeler!

JOEY: Hey Mai? (Stands up) Why don't you give it a rest? (Smiles) I know how you really feel about me, I understand.

MAI: You better shut up, right now!

JOEY: Oh really? (Mai nods) And what if I don't, what are you going to do about it? (She growls) Why don't you shut up?

MAI: Ha! (Huffs) Are you going to make me shut up? (Shoves Joey) I'd like to see you make me shut up!

Mai gasps as Joey grabs her roughly with one hand but he gently placed his fingertips to her soft lips. Her eyes met his in an unspoken gaze, they had never been in such silence around each other before and he moved his hand from her lips. He waited for her insults to come flying at him as usual but she only looked at him blankly, then they leaned towards each other again. She started smiling like he had never seen her smile and he blushed just before their lips spontaneously press together in a brief tender kiss. They pull away for each other without a word for a moment but then they both start laughing it off.

JOEY: What was that? (Mai shrugs) I don't know either.

MAI: Oh sure you don't, you're the one who kissed me.

JOEY: No way, you kissed me. (Mai starts laughing and shaking her head no) Yes you did.

MAI: No Joey, you kissed me. (No emotion at all in her voice) But you can believe what you want to believe.

JOEY: Good because I believe that you've always longed to kiss me but don't want to admit it.

MAI: Ha! (Scoffs) I'd rather kiss a toad than you.

JOEY: A toad? (Laughs) Then I'll see if I can find Rex or maybe Weevil for you.

MAI: That's not funny! (Huffs) How dare you? (Hits Joey on his chest) You big dumb jerk!

JOEY: That does it! (Gets in Mai's face) I'll show you what a big dumb jerk I am!

Joey grabs Mai's shoulders tight, then showers her with kisses on her neck and he slides his hands against her back as he leans her backwards in his arms. She slipped her arms under his over-coat until her hands made contact with his back, he blew in her ear. Suddenly he aimed for her lips again but this time it was a ravenous kiss, then his knees grew weak and they slowly fell on the bed together. He persists on kissing her more but she stops him and sits up.

MAI: Okay, this has gone way too far. (Sighs) Just get out of my bed and we'll never speak of this again.

Joey doesn't say anything as he sits up right next to Mai, he just looks at her for awhile. It's like she can almost feel beams from his eyes on her flesh however he can't help but blush, from a light red then a deep purple.

JOEY: Oh man! (Looks down) Don't look at me.

MAI: You look like a plum. (Snickers) I've never seen anyone turn completely purple before.

Joey's face does a complete change of _expression as his anger rages once again from Mai's snickers.

JOEY: You do want a piece of me don't you?! (Huffs) Do you know that you're driving me out of my mind?!

MAI: Short drive. (Giggles) Calm down Joseph, I was only teasing you.

JOEY: Well unless you mean strip teasing, cut it out. (Embarrassed) Oh man, I can't believe I just said that out loud.

Mai reaches for her teddy and holds it up before Joey.

MAI: I can't believe you had this in your hand while you were sleeping. (Interrupting Joey she puts her hand to his mouth as he starts to say something) Nevermind, I know all too well what I do to males and their raging hormones. (With dread she tosses her teddy in his lap) Here, just don't tell me what you did with it while I was gone.

JOEY: Nothing. (Sheepishly pulls Mai's teddy off his lap) I mean I just looked at it for awhile but nothing strange or...

MAI: (Interrupting Joey again) Oh and what were you thinking about when you were just looking at it?

Embarrassed by Mai's third degree Joey once again turns purple, she smirks because she knows she has him cornered. However he thinks of something fast, he holds the teddy up to himself and starts to mock her.

JOEY: Look at me, my name is Mai Valentine (Smirks) I think I'm so hot that I could make all guys melt like butter.

MAI: Seriously? (Grabs the teddy) How could you be such a rude moron when you're also so very... (Pauses) Nevermind.

JOEY: When I'm also so very... What? (Guessing) Interesting, amazing, handsome, adorable, irresistible?

MAI: Alright, I was going to say cute. (Upset) Are you happy now?

JOEY: Ecstatic. (Aggravated) What do you mean by cute?

MAI: Well you're cute when you're aggravated like now. (Giggles) And when I make you blush.

Joey tries to say something but his tongue feels numb and all he can do is make a strange sound. Mai grabs him by the shirt playfully and once more they kiss but he nervously stops. She starts to ask him why but he stills her with his hand on her lips.

Mai interrupts Joey but this time she pounces him like a lioness would a gazelle, his legs fly from the edge of the bed and into the air. MAI: The more you struggle the tighter the hold becomes on your arms. (Self-satisfied sigh) So why don't you just relax?

JOEY: I'll relax when you free me. (Growls) Come on all I can do is move my legs, I'm pretty much helpless here.

MAI: So you are. (Running only her index finger down Joey's midriff, he laughs uncontrollably) Ticklish there, huh?

JOEY: Wait a minute, you did this just so you could tickle me? (Kicking his legs) That's not fair, let me go!

MAI: Don't wear yourself out, save some of that enegy for later. (Smirks) Believe me you're going to need it.

Mai leans over to get her bag, she pulls out a box of chocolates and opens it. She snickers as she lays it on Joey's chest, then picks up one and licks it slowly before she takes a small bite of it.

JOEY: Hey? (Whimpering as Mai pops the candy piece in her mouth) This is torture!

MAI: Mmm! (Gesticulating with a new piece of chocolate at Joey's mouth) Oh, did you want a piece?

JOEY: Yes! (Trying to bite into the piece of chocolate but in vain) Eh, you know I do!

MAI: Then all you have to do is beg for it. (Giggles) Otherwise I may just have to eat all of it myself.

JOEY: Alright, please let me have at least one bite?

Mai waits until Joey's mouth opens to bite into the piece of chocolate before she breakes it open and the creamy cherry insides oozes like an egg yoke into his mouth. She eats the chocolate shell, this makes him growl with total frustration.

MAI: Do you want something sweeter? (Joey nods) Then close your eyes.

JOEY: Hey, why should I close my eyes? (Mai displays another piece of chocolate and holds it up) Okay then.

Mai waits until Joey closes his eyes and parts his lips but instead of the piece of chocolate, she gives him a very steamy kiss. His big brown eyes pop open with surprise but then they close once more as shock turns into ravished affection.

MAI: Now if you promise me you'll be a good boy, I'll free you. (Joey nods) Okay then.

Mai frees Joey but as soon as she does he rushes for the candy and he downs all of it in a few minutes. She wipes the melted chocolate away from his mouth with a tisue from a box on the nightstand, as he gazes at her.

JOEY: Um, so are there anymore snacks in your bag?

MAI: What?! (Stops her foot) Why you...

Mai is obviously furious at Joey for wanting food over her she goes to slap him but he catches her hand mid flight. He shakes his head at her as they once more lip lock in heated passion. Then severely making-out with her, he comes up for a breath but she pulls him back down for another round. Breathlessly he grabs the brass headboard and pulls himself up for a moment. She pulls him back to the middle of the bed and straddles him so he cannot move.

JOEY: Agh! (Gasping for air as Mai holds his arms down) I think I've just created a monster.

MAI: I think I did too. (Thrusts back) In fact I know I did. (Joey blushes) And the battle field has rocky terrain.

Mai arches like a tiger over her pray and maneuvers length of her body to match Joey's, who is trembling under her.

MAI: I want you to lie perfectly still and let me do everything.

JOEY: Well what if I don't want to?

Mai doesn't say anything but rasies up straddling Joey again and takes off her sleeveless jacket.

MAI: Do I have your attention? (Joey nods) Good.

Mai slowly unties the laces on her white blouse while Joey stares in awe. Only a tiny bit more of her alabaster skin shows as she gets a quarter way down but for a huge grin crosses his face. Then the middle of her lilac bra emerges from the gap.

JOEY: Wow!

MAI: Is that all you can say? (Joey watches her avidly as she finishes with her top laces) How about now?

Suddenly Joey manages to grab Mai by the waist, she lets out a shriek and he draws a out deep breath. She laughs suddenly, pushes him back and their faces are two inches apart. Spontaneously he undulates his hips wantonly against her crotch but she stifles a groan. Their hands begin to search delicately across many contours of their bodies, while drawing quick breaths.

Joey takes a step out the rounded door revealing he's been in one of Seto's virtual reality pods which is in a game center. Tons of people of all ages are roaming about, in fact he doesn't notice the guy Mai was dueling in the virtual reality realm gets out of pod next to the one he was in.

JOEY: Agh! (To himself) Sorry bro, she's mine. (To Tristian) Come on just give twenty more minutes to finish what I was about to do. (Begs) Please? (Tristian shakes his head no) Ten minutes? (Tristian shakes his head no) Five minutes?

TRISTIAN: No way, you've been in there forever. (Pauses) What are the new changes like?

JOEY: Absolutely wild, man. (Snickers) You wouldn't believe me if I told you.

TRISTIAN: I can't wait! (Looking at the pods) One of the other occupants left their pod, that means we can both go.

JOEY: Um? (Clears his throat) Actually I need to go to the bathroom and then I'm going to find something to eat.

Tristian shrugs, gets in the pod and shuts the door. Joey walks slowly to the bathroom as Mai leaves the third pod, they just miss each other. She fans herself with her hand and lets out a long sigh, she walks to the ladies room. Awhile later both her and Joey come out at the same time. An uncomfortable silence happens for a moment between them, then a smiles from him.

MAI: Hello Joseph, are you happy to see me? (Joey blushes but manges a slight nod) Are you here alone?

JOEY: No, I'm here with Tristian. (Points to the pods) He's trying out Seto's improved virtual reality pods, how about you?

MAI: I already tried them. (Leans provocatively up against the wall) Have you by any chance?

JOEY: Uh, huh! (Sticks his hand out towards her) May I ask you what happend in there with you?

MAI: Um, well we... (Trying to remain cool) It was very, very interesting to say the least.

JOEY: I see. (Fishing) Interesting how?

Joey puts his hand on the wall right next to Mai's head and leans in closer to her. Obviously both of them wonder about what happend in the virtual reality pods and worry about the consequences of it.

MAI: Just that. (Fidgets uncomfortably) Joey, why are you giving me the third degree?

JOEY: Um, I'm curious. (Excited) Mine was extremely spectacular!

Subconsciously when Mai looks away, she arched her back. Which makes her bosom pop right out at Joey and he can't help but take notice. When she turns back he has a huge grin but before either of them said anything more Tristian walks up.

TRISTIAN: Hello Mai. (Very accusatory tone) Hey I'm not interrupting anything here am I?

MAI & JOEY: (In unison) No! (They look at each other) We're just talking.

TRISTIAN: Well I don't want to interfere if you two want to be alone or something.

MAI: Oh don't be ridiculous. (Crosses her arms) But maybe you two would like to be alone.

JOEY & TRISTIAN: (In unison) No way!

MAI: Well looks like you don't have a choice, because I'm leaving. (Waves) Bye.

Both Joey and Tristian watch Mai as she walks away into the crowd, then Tristian looks at Joey who is still looking for her.

TRISTIAN: Hey bro, she's gone. (Scoffs) You can stop looking and roll your tongue back in your mouth now.

JOEY: Hey, I am not drooling over Mai. (Grunts then waits a few moments) Now leave me alone.

TRISTIAN: Is that what she said? (Laughs) Besides I think she likes me.

JOEY: Sure she does. (Tristian points to himself) Is that why she's always wondering where you are? (Smug) No, that would be me. (Scoffs as Tristian poses) Dream on, the little minx has it bad for me but she denies it.

TRISTIAN: I can certainly see why she would deny that.

JOEY: Hey! (Enraged) Do you want a piece of me, come on?!

TRISTIAN: Calm down, I was only picking on you.

JOEY: Yeah, well, cut it out. (Sniffs) Is that pizza I smell?

TRISTIAN: Aw, food. (Scoffs) Your frist love. (Slaps Joey on the back) Let's go eat.

JOEY: Yeah. (Walking past Tristian) So what do you want on your pizza?

Tristian rolls his eyes and follows Joey to the food court.
