Hello. Since this class is a distant learning class, I thought it might be a good idea to introduce myself to you.
I was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. I attended Buffalo State College and earned my Bachelor's of Science degree in Secondary Social Sciences Education, with a major in American History.
I taught English for two years in NYC High Schools before settling down at Thomas C. Giordano Middle School. I was there for nine years, teaching primarily English and Social Studies (History and Global Studies) during my tenure there. I also taught Health Education, Computer Science, pre-Algebra, ESL and Special Education.
I moved to West Virginia in June of 1998 and began my employment with Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College that August.
I am working on my Masters degree at Marshall University. |
