i had the opportunity to spend a weekend in August in Tokyo but typhoon Etau reduced my hope of witnessing the spectacular 2-hour Hanabi fireworks festival to a whole day stuck in the hotel room munching konyaku jelly and coffee..
but the following sunday was scorching as hell as i made my way to shinjuku flea market hoping to find cheapy things and i did! it never occurred to me that i could get anything cheap but i found a t-shirt for hyaku yen and many other interesting wacky stuff.
