it has been a while since all of us went travelling anywhere, the last trip being to perhentian. although there are ideas to go again next month of august, it really depends on our schedule and also our friends schedule. i mean, travelling alone is fun when you travel for but when you just 3-4 days to yourself may be it is not such a bad idea to be with your friends. you don't really have much time to make new friends in 3 days.. :)
the last trip to perhentian in april was loads of fun. of course everybody talks about longbeach when they mention perhentian but really there are lots of other places worth exploring. for those on the bakpak, if you just came back from ritual partying in koh phangan or koh tao (although they say all you do in koh tao is diving... hmm i dont think so..) and need some quite time to reassess your travel plans and decide whether to activate that return-trip or stray of from your itinerary, petani beach is recommendable. only about 5-6 modest huts with the generous cool (and winnie's fav.) abg. lan you are guaranteed a good rest. don't want to say much besides good food, good sleep and the beach literally to yourself. i don't have any underwater photos for that trip but i hope to get some during the next trip. |
