Introduction

The decision of the Congress to war against Afghanistan was made in two days after the attack of the World Trade Center.  What were the causes of the decision that the members of the Congress in general believed that the US must use war to solute the conflicts?  The problem was on the Congress itself.  For more than two weeks, President Bush hesitated to have war with Afghanistan.  The President of Afghanistan Mullah Abdul Oma apologized the US at first; and he would pay a high price to arrest Osuma Bin Laden.  The Authority of Palestine Arafat Yessar donated blood to the Americans who were injured by the attack. But the Congress seemed was deaf to the voices of peace.  The decision of the Congress had made in two days; and the war was officially declared on October 7, 2001.  As the attack was on September 11th, the time that the White House took to make the decision was less than a month.  My hypothesis was that the Congress had made such a decision to war even before the attack of the World Trade Center.  And the causes of the decision had their roots in Clinton’s Administration.  Six elements by the Congress persuaded the members in the Congress to make the decision in such a hurry.  They were the Political Causes, the Psychology Causes, the Propaganda Causes, the Media Control by the Congress, the Increasing Militant by the Congress, and the Increasing Investments in the United Nation.

The First Element:  The Political Corruption in the White House

a.       The Congress had lost its function

b.      The Democratic and the Republicans did not talk to each

c.       Any lazy member of the Congress could be a good congress man or a good congress woman

d.      The people in the White House hating at each other

e.       They obtained the information by reading the political magazines, and they were brainwashed by the publication, like Washington Post and Foreign Affairs.

f.        Some Congressmen believed that the US is the greatest nation in the world and the House had no need for reform

g.       Some Congressmen unwillingly to do their jobs, or ignoring their duties

h.       Lake believed the system in the White House was corrupting, most of the officers were too old

The Second Element:  The Psychology Distress by the Congress

a.       The US was the greatest power in the world, in economic

b.      ,in technology and in science

c.       But, the middle-class used to have a higher income in the mid of 1980s than in Clinton’s Administration (problems of poverty among the middle-class Americans increased)

d.      The members of the Congress used to have more jobs in the mid1980s than what the have in Clinton’s Administration

e.       The Americans had the better culture

f.        The land of Americans were clean and were free from disease

g.       The virus came for the international airports, so we should provide the people out side of the US the better medication

h.       The US must keep its reputation

i.         An illusion of prevailing the inferior countries by military power

The Third Element:  The Propaganda by the Congress

a.       In observing the corrupting system in the White House, members of the Congress believed that the participation in the wars could redeem the political corruption.

b.      In observing the lower economic opportunities for the Americans in general, the Congress asserted wars could improve the US economy

The Fourth Element:  The Media Control by the Congress

a.       The Congress in general believed the Americans public could not make the right decision on a political issue

b.      Less and less Americans read the international news or went to vote

c.       The Congress tried its best to prevent the participation by the American public

The Fifth Element:  The Increasing Militant by the Congress

a.       The increasingly powerful weapons were used by the US

b.      Despising the warming, a stronger military defense was a global trend.

The Sixth Element:  The investments in the United Nation

a.       The US had paid more to the United Nation than any other countries in the world.

b.      The advantages of paying more

c.       Just get the price of a cup of coffee from each American citizen; the US could invade the whole world with the supports from the UN.

Conclusion

These six elements had persuaded the Congressmen and the Congresswomen to create the wars in Clinton’s Administration.  The US did not find an excuse to create a war till the attack of the World Trade Center.  These six elements had brainwashed the members of the Congress.  By the time of the attack of the World Trade Center, the Congress had already decided to kill the people of Afghanistan as much as the US could.  The decision did not represent the voices of the Americans in majority because students, for example, did not know the US action in the Middle East was an act of aggression as a result of the media coverage.  Till the Israeli invasion in Palestine on March 28th, 2003, the students from the universities protested against the wars in California.  The White House declared the war and the war had threatened to the safety of every American citizen.  These six elements: the Political cause by the Congress, the Psychological Cause by the Congress, the Propaganda Cause by the Congress, the Media Control by the Congress, the Increasing Militant by the Congress, and the Increasing Investment on the UN, were the greatest enemy of the US security.  The US, as the greatest power in the world today, had the better choices to consul peace and to conduct trades without the using of military weapons, and with the helps from a restriction on these six elements I had listed above.
