Cold War of Discussion Section

1. The reasons that the Cold War did not become a
hot war were: First, The fighting was outside of the countries; and
second, the U.S. neuclear weapons defered to the Soviet Union. Both U.S.
and Soviet Union leaders were irrational, for the increasingly spending on the
military powers. The reason of that the war fought with something other
than military means was that the U.S. wanted to persuade the world to buy the
capitalism.
2. On political bases, the Soviet Union was
worried that the capitalism overthrown the communism, following the Russian
Revolution of 1917. On Economic, the Marxism assured the properities
created the unequality, and the government of Russia slay the wealthy
people. On strategic interests, the Russia invade Poland in 1947,
rapping women, and did many other evil things as a way of their economic
reform.
The U.S. on the other hand, because of the fears
of the communists, increasingly spent money on the military weapons. So
the Cold War principally was an ideological
confrontation.
3. According to Marxism, wealth was the root of
the unequality, and the Russians took the Americans as an enemies of
theirs.
The Americans on the other hand had become a
"Buying-Culture". In the end of the 1920s, the Americans in average were
twice in debt than that they were in the early 1920s. And the
Buying-Culture continued durning and post the Second War that the President of
the United States Roosevelt lend money to the British government, regardless the
British economic ability to pay back to the U.S. And it affected the
post-war diplomats also that Harry S. Truman and George Marshall thought the
U.S. should support the free and independent countries; and it affected the
decision of the Americans also that the U.S. played a role as the policemen
to secure the safety of the world in NSC-68 becsuse the society of capitalism is
a differenciated socitey that each individual functions differently.
Borrowing or buying is a fact in common for the Americans. So, our culture
affected our foreign policy durning the Cold War.
4. About the personalities play durning the Cold
War:
Harry Truman pretended the ccontrast of the 6
billion loan was lost. By which action, Russia was forced to lunch on
years of post-war economic plans.
Eisenhower militarily supported the Irannia
civilian revolts to overthrow their national government. By which action,
the the British oil companies regained the business with the Iranians,
and the U.S. gained the political stage in Iran.
And Richard Nixon said, "We want the colorful TV",
which was a powerful ministry indicated that we spent money on
self-interests that our motivation was much acceptable than the Russia while the
Russians spent money on the wars.
5. About the individual countries in determining
the course of the Cold War, the country China divided into the Red China and the
Free China. Korea divided into the Red government and the the Free
Korea. Vienman, shortly, divided into the communists and the
capitalism. The smaller powere did manipulate the larger poweres based on
they agreed or disagreed with the Russia.
6. The Cold War was not the result of two empires
clasing. The Russia attacked Turkey and support Cyprus, Syria, Taliban
rebels, and invade Afghanistan. The U.S. on the other hand military
supported Turkey and Iran to prevant the invasion of Russia. The U.S. also
settled the neculear in Israel to defer the Russian invasion from Balkan down to
the Medterrenean Sea.
The Cold War was the culimination to an Age of
Empire; contarily, following WWII, the nationalists became the chief force in the
Middle East as nationalists victory over France and Britia, the retreating
Emperal Power. The U.S. preposition military equipments and quarentee became
the chief safegard of the independece of the Araba states of Persian
Gulf.
About the Third World, Richard Nixson opened the
economic opportunity to the communists China, the Cold War was the culimination
to an Age of Empire.
7.The power of perception during the Cold War was
important because: Durning the Cold War we brought the diplomatic
energies, preassures, financial and military supports to the anti-communists
countries in the 1970s and 1980s. But the contra-vercial views on our
action in the Middle East was that our fights were to prevent the Sovian
invasion by 1976; but our fight had become keeping the open sea of the Persian
Gulf for the economic reasons, oil particular. So, by propaganda, by
surrogates, by economics were the ways that the U.S. had persuade the countries
to buy our capitalism in the Middle East. In Europe, the economic failure
of the communists brought the victory of the capitalism autometically. The
preception showed the neuclear weapons was to defer the Soviet Union and was not
to destroy the earth that the tool of the war was not the neuclear weapons alone,
but for the political, liberalism, oil, ect.
