Golden
Jubilee Celebrations - 3rd June 2002!
Welcome to Yardley Hastings in the heart of
Northamptonshire.
After several requests from family and friends overseas for pictures of
our village,
I decided to build a 'photo' website. The recent pictures were taken during August 2001,
and some of the older pictures have
been kindly donated by residents.
This is an on-going project! ...I still have more information
and pictures to add, so please check back regularly.
If you
have anything you would like me to add, please drop me an
email
sheree@yardley-hastings.com
If you are researching your family history, why not sign the guest book,
where you can leave details of your search.
I hope you enjoy your 'walk' around the village
and to meet some of the locals...past and present!

...and don't forget to sign my guestbook, I'd love to hear
your comments!

On another note, for the last 15 years or so I have also been researching my
family history
with the help of my mum...which started with Joseph Bedford, William Downing and George
'James' Underwood
who were deported to Tasmania
on HMS Tortoise in October 1841.
Over the next few months I am putting some of the information I have collected onto
websites
'My Family Tree' and 'HMS Tortoise'
