| 1. In MIRC calling adds and joining chennal offers bugs alot during chat. Instead of just closing by pressing cross button, right click on these type of windows and from menu and select ignore IRC server will hide you from that window for current session. |
| 2. In some super VGA's there is refresh rate control in display setting from control panel. I dislike default adapter as it hurts my eyes so I select refresh rate 85 Mhz. But you cannot run full screen display of VCD if you are using Power DVD. so select default adapter before watching VCD |
| 1. Trail softwares exprise in fifteen to thirty days...If you change your system date some days back and run those software again it will run. Some time if you uninstal the software shutdown pc and install it again it will work again for the same period of time.But remember Some software don't run with these above tricks. Especially softwares Protected by Vbox. Vbox leave its dll files in system directory so even if you uninstall that expired software protected by VBox and install again it won't work. |
| 2. ACDsee version 4.0 Trail (latest) wil lwork only 45 days and then expires and stop working. You cannot run it but you can copy its plugins form plugin directory of verion 4.0 and put it in plugin the directory of older version of acdsee and you can still use all the plugins... |

| 3. Winzip is very powrful tool to compress many files and folders. But I recomend winace. As there is not much difference in both of them but winace is more user friendly. it can compress files a little bit more then winzip. THe only disadvantage in winace is that its takes time to compress files while winzip do it in snap.... WINRAR is another very power tool for compressing and making exe files of any extention |

You can open only one yahoo account/briefcase/photos/geocities/myyahoo at a time. but there is a little trick and with that you can open as many accounts you want to open. simply open any account on any above sites of yahoo and instead of sign outing simply close the window. it means your machine is still signed in to yahoo servers. |

| 5. While giving links to any text during designing your own personal hompage is every easy Task. I don't know about other web building tools but in Yahoo Geocities you can add something that will make you homepage secure, if some user click on your given link, the link will open in same browser and your homepage will no where. when giving link, in the link text box type ( " target="_blank" ) after the address e.g. www.yahoo.com" target="_blank" . Link will always open in new browser. Not over on your home page. |
| 6. Does you window keeps forgetting your folder view settings? Just goto Tools --> Folder Options -->view and here find "Remember each my folder setting" Check this box and come out. The above setting is for Windows ME/2000/XP. In Windows 95/98 Folder Options is in "View" menu. |
| 7. Do you keep confusing Alphbets for CDROM- CDRW and DVDROM ? you have three CD type divices in your machines with continues letter like E the F the G! you can re assigne any letter you want! Just rightclick on My computer then properties then device manager then select CD devices and from there in the properties of that device you can re assigne any available letter. A letter that might help your to remember that device. Suppose you want to nave letter "V" to your dVd room to letter V will easy to remember that its for dVd room. |
| 8.You got some work and you left your PC running. Many applications are open and you must go to do that work! Simply set a screen saver password after 1 or 2 mins time clock! So if machine don't have any activity for more then as min or so screen saver will exicute and on activity it will as kyou for passoword! Rightclick on Desktop--->Properties--->Screen saver tab then set password from there. |

| 4. Flash Animations are not savable. if you see some Flash movie and you can't save it don't be so sad! All flash movies are first saved in the Temporary Internet file folder before appearing in the browser! so just goto C:\windows\Temporary Internet Files and search that movie from there by typing in search bar *.swf (as flash movie's ext is swf). |
