About Troupe Sarrab
Sarrab Middle Eastern Dance Troupe was formed in 1990 by Yasmine, of Springfield, Missouri. The troupe prides itself on authentic Egyptian style dance. All dances are choreographies of Yasmine and Troupe Sarrab. The costuming used is authentic and appropriate for the region of the dances performed. Sarrab is a not for profit organization through the state of Missouri and is very active in participating in community charities and family activities.
The troupe consists of women of all ages, sizes and shapes. There are grandmothers, full time moms, career women, college women and high school girls. You don't have to meet a certain criteria to dance. You just have to have it in your heart.
