The remains of the once proud city of Kraggen Mire.
Few people still inhabit this once bustling city. The encroaching desert heat and sands have sent all but a handful fleeing to more hospitable areas of Praelan. |

A short ways outside the city of Kraggen Mire, sitting nearer the edge of ever shifting sands of the Torgaine, sits the now abandoned Temple of Ashanti. Don't let its exterior fool you for inside it is as opulent and lush as the most spectacular castles.
Within the walls nightmarish activities beyond you're most hideous dreams were commonplace.

Rainfall average a mere 10 inches a year. Water is sparse if not nearly non existant. Many plants within the area have adapted to feed from the blood and fluids of passing animals or abandoned carcasses. Such a plant known as the Vampire Cactus is fabled to hunt down and feed from passing animals or humans.
Area sparsely populated. Sand Dwellers are known to be hermit like humanoids. Keeping hidden and very cautious of outsiders, to the point of paranoia. They are also, quite contrary to their lifestyle highly curious of anything new and will observe travellers, learning all they can.
