Hi Betty:

I am writing to you to let you know how the bee stings helped. After all the doctors I have been to and didn't get any relief it took the bees stings to stop the pain. I had the pain for eighteen months. Wish I went to you sooner. Thank you so much
Sincerely yours,
Frances Nowak

Dear Betty,

On August 19, 1996, I was involved in a car accident. The result was paralysis and nerve damage in my legs. This caused me to have severe pain shooting down my legs coming from my lower back and difficulty in walking. I also developed a drop foot in both legs that required me to use a cane and wear braces on both feet. My own physician had been treating me with various types of treatments that were not providing me with any relief. During a brief hospital stay, my doctor suggested trying acupuncture as an alternative treatment. I received one treatment from Dr. Goldflies while in the hospital. I felt much better and decided to continue the treatments.

I met Betty Yates at Dr. Goldflies' sports clinic in October 1997. I had been taking acupuncture at this time from Dr Goldflies, which consisted of two treatments in his office. He then turned my therapy and acupuncture over to the physical therapy department. It was during this time I got physical therapy and acupuncture from Betty Yates.

My progress was slower than I had hoped so; I decided to try bee stings in addition to the physical therapy and the acupuncture. During this time, I was still walking with a cane and leg braces on both legs. I could not walk without them without stumbling and falling. I officially started the bee stings on January 31, 1998. I noticed a positive difference with the feeling in my legs, and I started to walk more normal in March 1998. Gradually, I found that I did not need the assistance of the cane and the braces. I continued to take both acupuncture and bee stings together until December 31, 1998. In January 1999, I stopped the acupuncture but I continued the bee stings once each week. I have had about 138 bee sting treatments so far. When I stop taking the bee stings my ankles and feet stiffen up a bit. My walking is almost normal and I do not have to use the leg braces or the cane. Emotionally and psychologically, I feel wonderful taking these bee stings. In addition, my skin is much younger looking and the energy level I have is phenomenal. I have more energy now than I had before the car accident since I have been taking the bee stings. I am a schoolteacher who teaches first grade so I need to have high energy to be with and teach younger children.
Sincerely,
Sybil Kastner Meindl
