                                           Grandmaster Richard Wan

WAN Tak Kei Sigung (Grandmaster Richard Wan) was born in Hong Kong, China.
He studied the Sil Lum Yau Kung Moon martial arts system for over 10 years under the tutelage of HA Kwok Cheung Sijo, the son of belated Grandmaster HA Han Hong.
After a traditional disciple-accepting ceremony, Grandmaster WAN trained privately with his Sifu.  From this point on, he received the training secrets of Yau Kung Moon and accompanied his Sifu to Hong Kong's martial arts tournaments to observe other technical styles.

Everyday Grandmaster WAN and his Sifu trekked up to Victoria Peak at 6 AM for private lessons before going to work.

In 1966, Grandmaster WAN emigrated from Hong Kong to the U.S.  He was the only officially recognized instructor to teach the Yau Kung Moon system outside of Hong Kong.
