Interview Answers:

1) I have been married for 18 years.

2 At first I was a little unsure of what was going to happen to him or our marriage.

3) I was very afraid that I wouldn’t see him again, and that he would not see his son be born.

4) Once again I was afraid.

5) I knew that it was what he wanted to do it but I was still a little unsure on how long I wanted it to last.

6) Eight years.

7) We had talked it over when we realized that we were going to have a son.

8) No because he loved to serve his country and also the benefits that we had gotten from he being in the military.

9) I was disappointed that he wanted to stay in the military because he might not be able to raise his son and watch him grow.

10) When we were married he was not yet in the military.  This experience has only made our marriage stronger.

11) Be prepared for the struggles that are involved with it and make sure that you are always strong no matter what.

12) Talk to your family about how you are feeling and just appreciate the fact that your husband is will to sacrifice his life to serve his country.
