my first equipment :

my first equipment was 2 meter band transceiver. ic-2n from my old friend; 'oelil azmy' my crazy companion from my uni. I met him at 'kuliah kerja lapangan' programme. then I replace my ic-2n with the digital controlled handy transceiver, ic-2 gat. I bought it from my old friend -from the non-callsigner club. I stil use it for two meter band. for the antenna I used a local made, telex gazden. I stil remember that when I bought for the first time with my another crazy companion, budi 'yc2nwb'. we erected the antenna til at 01.00 am. he, he....

my 2nd equipment :

my second equipment is hf all band transceiver, ic-720a, the 'sewing machine' sometime my friend call it ('cause the sound of switching relay for the band changing). I bought it from my neighbour, yc2htt.

the specification :

Frequency coverage for the 'ham' band:

1.8-2.0 MHz; 3.5-4.1 MHz; 6.9-7.5 MHz; 9.9-10.5 MHz; 13.9-14.5 MHz; 17.9-18.5 MHz; 20.9-21.5 MHz; 24.5-25.1 MHz; 28.0-30 Mhz.

Frequency for the "general cover" :

0.1-30.0 Mhz

Frequency readout : 6 digit, 100Hz readout

Power supply : DC 13.8V ± 15%, current drain 20A for maximum input 200Watts

my 3rd equipment :

my 3rd equipment is vhf base station. the type is tm-201b from kenwood ham shack. i received from my brother in law who lives in palembang. i received in a breakdown condition. after a big repairmen now I can use it to vhf band. thanks a lot bro. Unfortunately my 720 have broke down, but, fortunately my elmer, yb2emk, lend me a beautiful shack, IC-761, with this gun I can keep on cq-ing for contesting and dx-ing. More power than my old 720! Thanks guy for such thing of kindness.

my 4th equipment :

my 4th equipment is hf all band all mode transceiver, kenwood ts450s. After returning IC-761 to yb2emk, i decided to buy the transceiver for myself. Now I am preparing build the digital interface for this rig, I hope soon I will be on air at the digital mode. the mode that i really enjoy. complete with autotuner and some filters make me love this gear.

my antenna :

firstly for my all band transceiver, 'cause ther regulation' only allow me to work 80 mband for the phone, I recently use 'the Inverted V' antenna. the wire I used is come from the crack compressor. I build it by myself. but now after passing my general exam (I am a Yankee Charlie now) I've set a tower, a guy wired, 18 meters high and on the top lies 3 bands rotary dipole (made by yc9yu, now yc1dyu); for 80m, 40m and 15m operation. the tower and the antenna finish installed on 16th of june 2002. now I really enjoy work at 80m & 40m. Finally I have bought my three bander TH3MKIII; from my elmer, yb2emk. I like this antenna, more powerful of course than my rotary dipole. I can spotting to direction that I would like work for. you can see clearly now for the antenna system. Ok see you in the air tonight. Happy contesting and dx-ing
