Elvis Aaron Presley was born a twin in 1935 in Tupelo, Mississippi.  Located in the rolling hills of northern Mississippi.  During his short life of 42 years, Elvis recorded 107 top 40 hits, dwarfing his closest contenders in this list, the Beatles, only having 49.  He made 33 films.

What Elvis accomplished in his life time, will probably never by equaled again.                   Truly God had laid his hand on Elvis, what an extraordinary life...

Elvis Presley attained as much as any human being ever has.   The status of a God in the eyes of the public.  He enjoyed international fame, possessed wealth almost beyond measure, and was idolized by millions of adoring fans who would have given literally anything, body or soul just to be in the presence of the "King".

Even in death, Elvis makes more money per year than most people do in their lifetime.  That is staggering, what an accomplishment.  Truly the hearts of the people of this world cry out for Elvis.  When Elvis died, so did a part of all of us.

He was admired not only as an entertainer, But as the great humanitarian he was:  for his generosity and his kind feelings for his fellow man. He revolutionized the field of music and received its highest awards. He became a living legend in his own time, earning the respect and love of millions.  God saw that he needed some rest, and called him home to be with him. We miss you, son and daddy "thank God" that he gave us you.
