Chak Phra and Thot Phapa are two religious ceremonies that occur on the same day at the end of the Buddhist Lent. Performed at sunrise, Thot Phapa features the waterborne Buddha image procession on Tapi River. After that, the saffron robes will be offered to the monks while other items will be donated to the temples - the latter ceremony is called Chak Phra. The event is further highlighted with cultural and music performances.
