SGT. Jesse T. Nichols

This site is dedicated to our son while he serves his country in Iraq.  On this site you will get stories and pictures from Iraq of him and his fellow soldiers as they provide Satelite Communications for the U. S. Army from Mosul, Iraq.

Jesse and his company started their journey when they left Ft. Hood, Texas on January 5, 2004.  It was a fun flight with stops in Iceland, Ireland, and Greece before finally arriving in Kuwait City.  From there, they convoyed North into Baghdad, Iraq with their equipment.  From there, Jesse, Eric and their teams were deployed to seperate locations in the Mosul, Iraq area. On this home page, you will see the links to get the pictures and stories, both from home and Iraq.  The links have the following: 1.  "Pictures & Stories From Home" is a link where we will post "stuff" for Jesse to enjoy.  Even if you are not Jesse, you should find it interesting also.  This link will be updated on a regular basis.  2.  "Jesse's Page" is a link where Jesse is posting pictures and stories directly from Iraq.  He will update this part of the site as time permits. 3.  "Eric's Site" is a link where one of Jesse's Sgt. friends is posting pictures and stories - also from Iraq.  He will update his site as time permits.  Eric and Jesse are both Satellite Team Leaders stationed in the Mosul area. Since they are located in different areas of the city of Mosul, their 4 to 5 man teams will present unique perspectives. We hope you enjoy this site as much as we have putting it together and keeping it up to date.  Any feedback you have will be appreciated.
