Even More Pictures

Here are some pictures of some recent things we have done.  I really do not have too many...at least not yet, but I hope you like them still.

This picture was actually taken back in May.  It was when we moved from Mosul down to Babylon.  As you can see, we were very full of all kinds of stuff.  Those two guys are a couple of my joes.  The one on the left is Jeff and the one on the right is Eric.

This picture is taken inside the main palace in Baghdad.  I am sitting on Saddam's chair.  This building is crazy huge.  I wish I could put into words how big it is.  Imagine the Nelson Art Gallery.  Double it's size.  Now, make it a home.  That is about the best I can describe it....did I mention everything is marble?  Amazing.

This is my site and house.  Pretty nice I know.  This palace is in shambles right now and will probably have to be torn down.  Nothing in it works.  No electricity, plumbing, or internet jacks!!!

Believe it or not, but it is about 530 in the morning here.  It gets pretty light very, very, very early here.  Aunt Di, you would not make it.  Anyway, we are in the middle of breaking down our site to move to Al Hilla.  Fun never takes a break here.
