"'Bleach' definitely inspired me to start making music. An older friend of mine owned the vinyl version and I was totally blown away when he played it to me. I'd never heard of Nirvana, and it was like being let into a secret club. I used to walk round with a little tape recorder, glaring at people while listening to 'Bleach' on repeat. I hated 'Nevermind' at the time. A lot of my bad feeling towards it was probably to do with losing my favourite band, because after a few months of sulking I realised it was a classic pop record. Ten years on, I think Nirvana were one of the bands that helped define that period of my life and I still consider 'Bleach' one of my favourite records." MY NIRVANA
