On the road again... this time to visit friends in Alexandria, Washington DC, Baltimore, Durham, Greenville, and Columbia. The trees changing color made for a pleasant ride. Just some of the places we hit were: Air & Space Museum, Arlington House, Arlington Cemetary, Bethune Museum Archives, Botanic Gardens, Bureau of Engraving & Printing, Capitol Building, Constitution Hall, Convention Center, corcoran Gallery, D.C. Armory, FBI, Folger Shakespeare Library, Freer Gallery, Hirshhorn Museum, Holocost Museum, House where Lincoln died, Iwo Jima Memorial, Library of Congress, Lincoln Memorial, Lisner Auditorium, MLK Jr. Library, Masonic temple, MCI Center, National Acedemy of Sciences, National Aquarium, National Archives, National Building Museum, National Gallery of Art, National Geographic Society, National Institutes of Health, National Museum of African Art, National Museum of American Art, National Museum of Women in the Arts, National Portrait Gallery, National Postal Museum, National Zoo, Phillips Gallery, Renwick Gallery, RFK Stadium, Sackler Gallery, Smithsonian Castle, State Department, Supreme Court, Textile Museum, Vietnam Veterans Memorials, Washington Monument, White House, and the Woodrow wilson House just to name a few. We even saw the Hope Diamond, consumed much coffee, and JMDC even bought a Tag Heuer.
