This is the 3.4 block out of a 99-2000 Olds Alero. The engine is brand new and has not been run. We are going to use the Fiero heads and intake but are going to use the aluminum pan.  So far we have found 3.4 DOHC pistons to use to raise the compression a little. We are still in the planning stages though. Eventually I will have a complete writeup on the entire conversion once we get going on it.
