| Ok, here is the car that kinda got the whole YellowDog Idea started. I was standing with my dad looking the car over. We where trying to think of a good name for the car. A name that would stand out at the race track. The thought crossed my mind of a story my Dad allways told me about. He had a 1953 Chevy Convertable he bought out of a Junkyard and made into the fastest street car around. The car was Yellow and every one knew it as the YellowDog. I guess the car was kind of a Dog when he got it. My father, being the poor man's racer took what he had and made it into something fast. I knew that was exactly what I was going to atempt to do. SO what better way to stand out and get noticed then to paint my 69 buick LeSaber Bright Safety Yellow And name it the YellowDog02. The 02 if you have not guessed by now is the 2nd Generation of YellowDog's. So thats how it all got Started. People know me around the Race Track and Derby Feild as the YellowDog, but I was not the first. HERE IS MY DAD AT AGE 19 WITH THE ORIGINAL YELLOWDOG. |
