Music
Music is one of my passions. I might not be the best singer, but...
I love to listen to music all the same, though I do give credit to my mother, who has to bear long car rides with me in the seat beside her screaming my lungs off to my favorite song, as she tries to concentrate on the highway. Music... I have a lot to talk about music. Must edit this section.

All Time Favorites!!! (Again, the Updated Version: 7/28/06):
Both Female Musician And All Time Musician: |
Madonna: Okay, anyone out there who thinks that Madonna is a slut, pig, or a bitch. Well, maybe you are right. But, then she is my number one bitch, slut, or pig in the world. Who cares if she 'fake' nails herself to the cross (in sparkling bra and panties. Straight guys would think it is hot if it were Pamela Anderson, i'm guessing) to relate her emotions to the other guy who had it happen to him. It's unique. She's unique. She tries to make people like her, but she doesn't try to be like everyone else, instead she uniquely tries to be liked. Every concert (i want to go to one SOOO bad, and I hope she'll have more. I'd pay 600 dollars for a ticket if I had to) she does she makes the best so her fans are satisfied. All of her CD's are more than complete, and whether she does or doesn't write her music, she is incredible with singing. She has an awesome talent for music and making it. She can make any song interesting no matter how she sings it, and she has a song for every mood that you could possibly be in. From Her song In This Life where she talks about losing someone who she loved and treasured so much in life, to the song Hung Up where she speaks about being hung up on every word and move her loved one makes, yet being tired of waiting and waiting for the moves to be made, and then to Bad Girl which she admits that she cheated on someone she loves and that she is sorry but she is afraid to tell her loved one for fear that her loved one will not forgive her, and then to Erotica, A passionate and sensual song about love and giving love to her loved one, and finally to Music, Get Into the Groove, and Holiday both songs merely to dance to and have fun singing along with. She is beautiful for her age (Born in 1958, she is currently 48, turning 49), no matter how many plastic parts she has. Those plastic parts would just make her that much more beautiful. And to top all of that off, these are the things that she does: She writes children books, and no. They aren't prono baby books. At least, I don't think so.She acts (she is the original Susan in Desperatly Seeking Susan). She was an awesome bitch in that movie, and she was an incredible actor. She sings, Duh!She has over 30 or 40 number 1 hits. She's been around for 4 decades, and she's still not ready to call it quits.I love her and her music TO DEATH and anyone who has a problem with that, TOO BAD!!! MADONNA ROCKS MY FUCKING WORLD!

Favorite Male Musician Band(s) Male Lead Singer: |
Fall Out Boy or Panic! At the Disco: I don't really know which on is technically my favorite. It's really hard to choose. I love Panic! At the Disco's newest CD, as well as Fall Out Boy's newest CD. I have Fall Out Boy's older CD, but it isn't exactly my favorite. But, I love the words the bands use in their music and I love what the meaning of the lyrics are. It always makes me think and then when I figure it out the song has that much more meaning. Plus, the songs have catchy tunes. |

Movie List |
|
| Mysterious Skin: An incredible drama movie. Anyone who is a fan of Brokeback Mountain, or slower movies, this one is perfect for you. |
| Against the Wall: Really incredible, sad, and horribly tearjearking. I totally loved this movie. If the main character in this was hotter than Joseph Gordon-Levitt, this may be my number one flick. |
| Mean Creek: Incredible acting job that makes you want to give the actors (being their characters) big hugs. This movie is really inventive and has a deep meaning. Plus, Ryan Kelley is really hot... |
| Borstal Boy: Anyone who is a fan of Brokeback Mountain or any other dramatic movie should see this. This movie has a little bit of everything in it. It is funny, romantic, (straight and gay) and everything just fits. It is a must see for anyone. |
| The Island: A definite must see movie for ANYONE, romantic, action, drama, adventure, any genre. Sci-fi even. It has a little bit of everything, it keeps you wanting more while also keeping the suspense and mystery going. This movie is incredible. |
| Dandelion: I have a feeling that nobody would really be interested in this movie, although romantics and drama freaks may like it. It is a bit slow for some people, but I loved it and it was incredible emotional and a good acting job. It had me almost in tears by the end of it. Okay, well, it did have me in tears. Dumbstruck too! |
| The Door in the Floor: The Door in the Floor is, first of all, a really incredible movie with a really hot actor (Jon Foster as Eddie) and this movie is great for people who love romance movies. This movie is based on a minor area in a great book. You will have to see the movie to find out what the book is. |
| Crash: This movie keeps your interest from the beginning to the end. A heart-breaking and heartmaking film that makes a seemingly random collection of the filmed lives of strangers come together in one great film. This is a MUST SEE! |
| The Good Son: This movie is unexplainable. The suspense, sadness, the whole movie is just incredible. Good acting jobs, it is just a must see for everyone and anyone. This movie tells you what psychotic really is, and how you fix that. |
| Brick: This kind of movie is what I call a Cliff-hanger Flick, the one the tells the story and just does not give enough information. But still, I sat by the TV, watched the whole film, and even at the end I was still expecting something to happen. Which means that I have to give them credit cause they kept my interest and my adrenaline rushing to the very last minute. Another Joseph Gordon-Levitt flick, he is not as hot in this one though. |
| Road to Perdition: This is a dark Irish Mafia flick, good movie, keeps you laughing at the edge of your seat with your eyes closed of disgust while tears flow down, all at the same time. Good movie. This movie is rated are for gore and language. Why I brought it up? Cause there is gore. You may wanna just listen to the movie. |
| Traffic: A movie about drug trafficing in the world, mainly America and Mexico. This movie is a really good movie with an INCREDIBLE cast. Must see. |
| The Professional: An action/drama movie that had me in tears at the end of the film. The little girl, the main character, does a seriously incredible acting job and she does an incredible tear-fake. The movie is just all-in-all perfect, there is nothing really bad with this movie. |
| Hardball: A real tearjerker. It has tons of explicit language so this is not a family film. But be prepared to cry. |
| Boy's Don't Cry: This movie is a total success. The actor did an incredible job playing her character, and the movie itself was worth a million pictures. It made me cry and laugh, and cry some more. It was so emotional and yet everything. There really are no words I can use to say how much this movie made me think, how much it affected me. |
| I Am David: A story that feels true even though it is fictional. A capturing drama, fairly slow, but... it is really worth it. |
| Enough: A Suspenseful Domestic Drama that features Jennifer Lopez as the main character. This movie is a really good edge of your seat family movie. A reccommended movie for anyone who likes woman overpowering men. |
| Artificial Intlligence (AI): This movie is a tough one. I loved this movie to death, no matter how slow it was. Haley Joel Osment plays a robot boy, I believe, who wants to be human. It is an odd but really good twist of Pinnochio basically. |
| Manic: Another movie featuring Joseph Gordon-Levitt. This movie is a really confined movie, basically, the only place you see is the inside of the institution that the main character is staying at. It did a pretty good job at keeping my interest for a little while, and then every once-in-a-while I could feel my attention diverting to something other than the TV screen. This is not a must see, but it is a really good movie. |
| The Birdcage: I really enjoyed this film. It drew me in and did not let me go. Ever. This is a must see, a touching, comedic... and yet dramatic film also. Robin Williams does an OK acting job. Not his best acting job, but the movie was good. |
| The United States of Leland: An odd independent flick that is sad and touching. Pretty good alone night movie, but really slow. |
| Billy Elliot: I only saw half of it, but this movie is really cute and innocent, and it is a really good see for anyone who likes Drama. |
| The Spitfire Grill: Nobody has seen it, I like it, but nobody else likes it. It is a good movie, but I shall not reccomend it to anyone. |
| The Sixth Sense: All I am going to say is that if you have not seen this movie, then you are missing out on a lot! |
| Inside Man: This movie is ingenius, a brilliant writer came up with a brilliant idea. It is a little slow, but you never notice it that much due to the suspense of the movie. |
| Half-Light: A quiet horror/drama movie that is very... sad and spooky. It is a brilliant idea though, but no 100% original. |
| Angela's Ashes: This book is based on the Autobiography by Frank McCourt and is very depressing. It has a great storyline and for a true story, this story is horrifying. |
I Know What You Did Last Summer & I Still Know What You Did Last Summer & I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer: Horror films that are very good, though at times pretty corny. I think that they have taken it all a little too far with the third one, but it is still pretty good. |
| Titanic: Everyone at one point in their short puny lives has to see this movie, and if you never heard of it then you must be an alien. |
| Homecoming: Based on the First book in the Tillerman Cycle, Homecoming, By Cynthia Voigt This movie is almost as touching as the book. |
| The Dust Factory: What I believe is Ryan Kelley in his first major role, this movie is a touching fantasy/drama, and an extremely odd film. This film takes a little thought after watching it, and I had to watch it 3 times in order to understand it. The full meaning that I deciphered was worth it though. |
| Gothika: An interesting movie that gets you thinking and then makes you hit yourself in the head at the end saying to yourself, "I can't believe i didn't get that.". Really good. |
| Dorian Blues: A slow moving movie that is pretty good, though could've been more interesting. |
| The Best Thief in the World: This movie, though very odd, was so touching!!! I loved it, the meaning, and the actors were just awesome and dedicated. It is true, though scary, how some people are born into a life of crime and not given a choice... but, i will just let you see the movie on your own. |
| Where the Red Fern Grow's: All that i can say about this movie is that it made me cry. Other than the fact that it's based on the book, i won't say anything else. |
| The Book of Love: A slow paced, dramatic, but very well written screenplay about love, seduction, betrayal, and... attempted murder, and then finally, the end. No, it was a good movie. Not the best, but... Still, someone worked hard at making it therefore i appreciate it. |
| Hide and Seek: My favorite part of the movie was the end. No, not because it was a bad movie, but because... oh, what am i saying. You'll have to see it for yourself to know what i am talking about. But, anyway, this movie is based on an older version also called Hide and Seek and it is a work of genius. I loved it. |
| The Forgotten: I don't know what it was about this movie that i liked, but i know i liked the alternative ending #3 better than the ending they gave. This movie is slow but suspenseful. That's all i'll say. |
| Hostage: Work of genius. Great movie, and dramatic in it's own action filled way. |
| Wuthering Heights: A romantic movie that just didn't satisfy me though it made me almost cry later that night in bed. |
| KIDS: Odd movie but still good in it's own special way. I don't have anything else to say. |
| Ten Things I Hate About You: Good movie that would have done much better with a different title, but still it held it's ground as a romantic teen flick. |
| Wolf Creek: This true story has a place on my favorite movies cause it is so disgusting and horrifying, and the writer's didn't even have to make anything up. If i were in their (the main characters) posistion, i'd throw up, even if i were already dead! |
| Good Will Hunting: I loved this movie, and i could watch it over and over and over again and not get bored of it. The TV version is a good family movie. |
| Desperatly Seeking Susan: The only reason why i saw this was cause Madonna is in it, but it ended up being a really good enjoyable movie that had me laughing while keeping my interest. |
The Pirates of the Carribean & The Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest: The first one is much better having more dialogue, and the second one is merely comedic with less dialogue and just begging for box-office money. They also make it so you're forced to want to see the third one. I have to see it, they made me. Well these, movies are good but not THAT good. |
| Mona Lisa Smile: I liked this movie but it was boring as hell. |
| Phone Booth: Now this movie was a really good and suspenseful movie, great because it was confined to a phone booth for over half of the movie and it kept your interest. A must see. |
Sybil & Sybil P.2: Good movies, but they are comedic when they are supposed to be dramatic. |

Book List |
|
Tomorrow, Maybe Brian James This book is really incredible and makes you think. It has odd grammar and takes getting used to, maybe reading the first chapter an extra time. This book has everything in it, and in just a small book it covers so much ground it is amazing. Five stars! What i wrote below: This book is so touching that it almost made me cry. It is a horrifying reality check of what really can happen on the streets, and it gives you an inside look at how horrifying this world really is. It takes you out of your nice warm (or in the summer, cold) room and puts you on the streets, surrounded by drugs, fights, lies, sex, and abuse. It has a little bit of it all, and though the grammar takes a little bit of getting used to, the grammar assists in improving the drama of the story by the end of the book. All in all this has been my favorite book to read; I enjoyed it, and I learned a real lot from it. You should check it out, who knows, you might change |
Fever 1793 Laurie Halse Anderson Yes, if you have ever read this book, you will notice that it is historical fiction... about yellow fever. Yes, this book is what caught my interest in the disease known as 'Yellow Fever'. Laurie Halse Anderson did a really great job. With the description, emotional attachment you get with the characters in the book, the sensory details, the details that were given with the book, especially the research that was put into it. It even gives a brief outline of the actual disease and the actual historical occurances in the book. I felt attached with the book. Unfortunaly I no longer read the book because I have read the book over forty times, and I have practically memorized it. But on the plus side I spread the news that this book exists. It really gives a good character description, and makes you feel attached to all of the characters that you are introduced to; main or minor. The book is incedible. The only downsides to this book is that with a book about diseases, especially a historical fiction in an action book form, there is no way to avoid the gore. The gore in this book, of my opinion, is not at all bad. There is not realy any of that stuff you would really think is disgusting. The actual gore comes from the after thoughts; most of which is the realization that the "disgusting" occurences were actually used on real people. |
Last Day's of Summer Steve Kluger A book told through the letters and newspapers during World War II between a young baseball legend and a feisty child, creating a lifelong friendship and a destiny unavoidable. |
The House of the Scorpion Nancy Farmer I can't help but brag about how incredible this book is. The realism, the description, the drama. Everything is perfect, the characters are so perfect that they embed permanantly in your head. A must read for anyone who reads. Or doesn't... who am i kidding! |
When Dad Killed Mom Julius Lester A sad and frighteningly possible fictional tale that has happened at times in the past. This book tells the story of a broken family changed by the death of their artistic mother by their father, a college psychologist, and the sudden imprisonment of their father and the journey to make it through just brother and sister. |
City Boy Jean Thompson An independently published book that tells the tale of a regular couple that quickly takes a twist and then irreversibly becomes messed. A must read, and the book is a great read just for family and group discussions. Just don't invite me, i hate group discussions! |
Homecoming Cynthia Voigt A dramatic read filled with incredible imagery and fantastic details, this book, the first in the Tillerman Series, is a must read. A small family that was abandoned by their mother in a mall parking lot, they go on a journey that tests their love and dedication to one another on a state or two long journey to find their grandmother that they had never met. Detailed imagery, just plain awesome work. |
The Last Book in the Universe Rodman Philbrook Rodman Philbrook creates a fantastic fictional universe that takes place in the future after our normal universe has been destroyed and altered into a drug addicted, psychotic, animalistic human society raging civil wars against eachother. The book just keeps your interest while giving you a taste of what the future could be like if we don't walk carefull on our eggshells. |
The Library Card Jerry Spinelli An enjoyable book by an incredible author, Jerry Spinelli creates a serious book filled with comic lines that you won't laugh at. The book is so good and just makes you want more at the end. By the end, you're so desperate to read more, you're willing to read a boring life story of the main character. A must read for people of any age. |
Speak Laurie Halse Anderson A book that was recently made into a movie, this book is incredible. The language and the format of the book, it keeps you reading and reading. This book is just a handful of twists in the average life of a screwed up teenager. A must read, and an emotional read for anyone who was molested or raped as a child. As a freshmen at my high school, this book is mandatory. |
Catalyst Laurie Halse Anderson The book is okay, not the best book in the world and it's also a little too open ended, but the meaning behind the whole book is pretty good and keeps you reading. I'll say again, the ending is pretty disappointing. |
The Supernaturalists Eoin Colfer A great read that keeps you wondering where the book is taking you, and at the same time you'll wonder what is happening. Takes some getting used to, but is extremely enjoyable and one book that you may want to read over and over again. |
Dreamcatcher Stephen King Another Great Stephen King book, you are brought into a world where the end is closer than you think. Now, let's not make this critique as long as the book itself, eh? |
Kissing the Rain Kevin Brooks A great read. I am not going to critique this one because i read the special unrevised edition before it was published, and what i would have to say, besides the fact that it was a great read and an ingenius story plot, would be inaccurate and unfair. |
TV Show List |
|
| Veronica Mars: The Show is incredible and it is a young, interesting, and feisty teenage detective story that shows empowerment where power is usually limited. It has a great storyline, and Rob Thomas was genius to come up with the idea. |
| Will & Grace: A hilarious comedy that keeps you laughing until you feel as if you can't laugh anymore. Karen and Jack keep the funny coming while Will and Grace keep the stupid in the show. |
| Sex and the City: A lovely comedic drama that proves girls have power over men too. |
| It's Alway's Sunny in Philidelphia: Hilarious. See it for yourself. |
| That '70s Show: A down to life show that allows anyone to relate with at least one of the characters on the show. It's just hilarious and true at the same time. Plus, some hot guys are in it. |
| Sabrina the Teenage Which: A comedic fantasy that makes you wish you could pause time and do your homework. |
| The 4400: A suspenseful drama with twists and turns, though the show got too wild in the second season where i lost track of everything. |
| Whose Line is it Anyway?: Another show that just keeps the laughs coming. |
| Friends: We were all at least a little sad when the end came, but look at it this way: discounts on the DVD's. This show is not as funny as all the other shows, but it has it's moments where you are in fact on the floor, buckled over in laughter. |
| Cuts: I only saw a couple shows, but i fell in love with it instantly. A must see for anyone up at midnight or one o'clock. |
| Without a Trace: A good suspenseful drama that just keeps the disapperances coming and coming. It just never gets old. |
| Law & Order: Special Victim's Unit: Just like without a trace except the main characters haven't disappeared and they have usually been raped or molested. |
| So You Think You Can Dance?: Amazing how easy it all looks when the professionals do it. Just makes you, or at least me, want to get up and dance with them. |
| Dance with the Stars: Same as "So You Think You Can Dance". Except a little more boring. |
| American Idol: Just a scout for all the fans to find a new favorite singer. A good overall show. |
|
